I was playing DnD via a Lync call with a mate who's working from home. It all worked rather well.

Ok. While we're waiting for Alistair...

In the original Tron, there's a scene on Sark's Command ship. Behind Sark there's a wall, and in amongst all the neon patterns etc, the artists hid a famous videogame character.

    Which one?

    It is indeed Pac-man.

Although L_B isn't far off. In a different scene, when they're on the Solar Sailer, there is an outline of Mickey Mouse in the background.

So if Alistair's still thinking, then Deckard1 is in the chair.

I've just googled the answer because... well, because I wanted to know.

I would have guessed at the Tribbles from Star Trek before the actual answer!

Having googled it, I can declare Stickman is the winner.
I am still failing to think of a question, so if you can think of one sooner Stickman, go for it.

    OK, here's one.
In Argonautica, name the island where the Golden Fleece is located, and the king of that island.

Gremmi is too knowledgeable on Greek myths. I'll need to find a new topic..!!

Maybe I need to ask more questions about Swallows and Amazons - not many people seem to have read the whole series..

Haha, I did a Mythology course last year, and Greek myths were a big part of European Literature last semester. :D Still reasonably fresh in memory, otherwise I wouldn't have a clue.

    On that subject:

What is the shortest story that's considered literature?
  • Deleted user 1 February 2013 17:09:06
Slight clarification - it's a specific story, and by literature I mean part of literary canon.
