Subject says it all really. I've tried Your Fitness evolved which was ok. There's a MMA one and a new Nike+ one out that I imagine would be good, but would love to hear what you lot think.

Anyone managed to shift some weight from using Kinect?

In all seriousness, I've found the game that whips up the most sweat in the living room (steady on) is some Just Dance action with my wife. That's on the Wii though, not sure about the 360 version.

I lost a couple of stone playing Dance Central for half hour a day for a couple of months.

It was a great kickstart to a healthier lifestyle, I now cycle to work every day and feel a lot better.

I had my suspicions that the dancing games would be recommended. Tried Dance Central and it was fun, might pick one of those up.

UFC Trainer and EA Sports Active 2 both offered a decent workout you could feel. Problem being that loading screens and whatnot really accumulate and are too long and frequent between exercises. Dance Central will work too.

The 'Calorie Challenges' in Kinect Sports are brilliant because you can choose different food(s) such as Pizza, Soda, Banana, Milk and Chocolate to represent how much weight you specifically wish to lose ... and it is good fun too!

I think Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2012 is the best fitness game for Kinect by quite some distance though.

I'd second this. Just so many categories of stuff to do, from dancing, skipping, games, to specific muscle group workouts, to plain running, it seems to have something for everyone and every situation. Can't fault it really.

I can personally vouch for UFC Trainer - its a brilliant little fitness tool.

Be warned though, its not easy. I consider myself reasonably fit and this game absolutely killed me (in a good way) the first week i used it.

Definitely recommended if you want to add some shape and definition, as far as weight loss goes though Dance Central is probably the better option.
