    (ps - it does not)

Again, not saying she's bad looking, just that she's a somewhat odd choice to put up against Emma Stone in a love triangle scenario. Though I guess life is (supposedly) imitating art (even potentially orchestrated), so there we go.
Agreed. With the makeup she looks quite good but not nearly as good as Emma and she's meant to be playing the character that's a model/actress.

Are you saying that she isnt actually good looking enough to be a model/actress?

And she wasn't a model/actress in high school.

Name the one attribute that both of those things have in common?

I'd say not really good looking enough for a model based on the non-made up photos.

She may not have been at high school but the point is that I would expect her to at least be prettier than Gwen.

Of course this is subjective but I don't think she's a rival for Emma in the looks department and so doesn't work for me as MJ on that front.

First good look at Electro. A bit like Mr Freeze. Ice to meet you!

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

I think it could be OK if Foxx makes a decent bad guy. My main problem with the first one was the goomba. And that Emma Stone has is a toady toady toad face. I thought Garfield was pretty good in it.

Electro has always been one of those weird villains with really good powers that absolutely sucks because the story requires it.

Well they always play him (Electro) up to be a complete loser though really (at least in the regular MU). Very rarely has he been a proper menacing threat.

Is that rumor about Paul Giamatti playing the Rhino been confirmed yet? Two classic but kinda minor-league villains makes me think there'll be a masterminding villain in the shadows. Kingpin maybe?

I always found it a bit odd when the stars 'reject' the original costume design. This is what happened with Willem Dafoe for the Green Goblin in the original Rami Spider-Man. Here's the original make up tests. Add a tiny bit of CGI and it would have been much better than that crappy battle armour.

Apparently Fox rejected the original costume designs and decided to go Mr Freeze meets Emperor Palpatine.

Slightly off topic but it looks as though the new X-Men film will have the characters in their original comic book garb. Seeing Hugh Jackman in the original Wolverine costume could be a bit awesome.

That Green Goblin thing looks ridiculous, really. Like a commenter says, how would they have used it in the film?

It's not such a leap to say the formula/serum turns him into a mutated monster type.

How come Electra's trying to look conspicuous but then he's got the blue lights around his inner hoodie?

    That's a cool hoodie, though.
