    Just picked this up. No online code in the box Mr Cheese, just the bit of paper and the card.

    @Rigu7 Yes it is linked as it is noted so on the Origin website. I'm going to ask them to remove the link so I can re-establish it in the game.

    I couldn't decide so I ended up getting the PS3 and Vita versions.

    Right, now I'm seriously pissed off... They're going to swap back the game access to an Origin ID I've never used before, which will mean I have no cross-platform access to the Speed Points between Vita and Xbox 360.

    Hopefully they'll be able to actually get me online but, at the moment, it seems some magical corruption has occurred on EA's servers and I may not have any online access at all.

    I think the Speed Points only cross between the PS3 and Vita versions if I recall correctly. The article might have been wrong though.

    Went to fire it up and the Vita needs charging. /sigh

    No, the Speed Points are linked through Origin so are shared between any versions of the game.

    I'm hoping I can register my 360 version to the same Origin ID as the Vita game when I get home...

    Well I'm online now. Only downside is I can't link to the same Origin ID as my 360 so no sharing of Speed Points. Could be worse! :p

    I'm going to clear off a few people on my list and add a few of you guys later.

    BE AWARE: I think, if you put your Vita on standby, it kicks you off autolog, and doesn't log you back in automatically on your return. I've just had to beat Sage's times twice. because i realised the first times didn't log.

    If you go standby, ensure you log back into autolog.

    Are peoples' times in races mean't to show up on the Speedwall when you re-attempt races to boost your time? Only my times are showing up...

    Yes.

    Press right on the dpad, then the top option should be 'recommendations', and will be telling you who's scores you should try and beat.

    It's all falling into place! :) Slowly but surely people's times are popping up in my game.

    Have already emptied an entire Vita battery on it today. And I've got the 360 version waiting for me at home. Overload! :D

    Does anyone know how big file is if downloaded off psn store?. Also if I bought download version, can if my son gets a Vita for xmas download it on that vita or is it tied to machine.

    If its tied to machine may as well buy from shops. Cheers...

    You can share all downloads (iirc) between 2 Vita's so you should probably look at downloading.

    Does anyone know how to change the driving controls? I'm not that keen on using the shoulder buttons for accelerate and brake and wouldn't mind changing them. But I can't seem to find anywhere in the settings to do that. Is it possible?
