Might have to add this to my list of games to get for the Vita.

37 for Vita version but 34 for PS3 at shopto, all wrong.

35 in HMV. Definitely preferring this version over the 360.

So all the PS+ stuff pushed me into getting myself a Vita. Opted for NFS to go with it and it is indeed awesome.
If anybody fancies some easy times to beat I'm Fozzy_Frog on there.
My autolog is currently a bit bare to say the least (Pity me!)

I despise that little F1-a-like, mini John Player Special-esque car. The name started with an "A" but I think I've blocked out the rest due to psychological trauma. ( EDIT: A learned colleague confirms it's the Ariel Atom )

Needed about twenty attempts last night to come first in the easy race, the thing handled like something from the Seventies.

Having played both Sony versions now, I think I also prefer the wee one. Seems slightly more forgiving, with the exception of the above monstrosity and whilst I thought it would be easier to avoid hitting crap on a big telly that did not actually turn out to be the case.

    Frustrating but enjoyable.

Yeah, it's too light that's why. I found I had to adapt my playing style. Rather than hard right to go right I had to move the analogue a bit less.

Did you find the BAC Mono similar?

BAC mono is far easier to drive than the atom, but I've managed to finish the BAC mono, superlight and the atom races so I'm probably not the best person to comment on the difficulty of driving the cars. Nicest one I've found so far for drifting is the r8.

I started using the Koeniggseg (or however you spell it) yesterday and I must say for getting high speeds and largest jumps I find that by far the best. Often takes a few goes though!
I do actually like the Camaro. Maybe it's because it's a transformer!

Thank you to people who have added / accepted me.
This autolog stuff is rather yummy.
Just on the topic of the BAC Mono, the final race (average speed thing) is royally pissing me off atm - targed speed 120mph and I've currently maxed out at 119.8

What's the deal with the connectivity on this? If I get it on 360 and vita does it only share the autolog stuff?

generally speaking you want track tires, aero body, long gears (short gears if the car can normally go over 200mph), powershot nitrous and lightweight chassis for the average speed ones and also you need to realise that some of the cars go faster round some corners by not drifting. BAC mono being one of them.

Anyone aware of a demo in any region? I thought the US had one based on some comments I'd read elsewhere, but alas nothing on the US store.

I do love how my XBL friends appear on leaderboards, not just Vita chums. All cross-platform games should do this!

Mine arrived from ShopTo today after ordering yesterday, good work! Really not sure if I'm overly thrilled with it, I hate 'behind the car' views as cars feel way too twitchy (amplified by the tiny analogue stick) but the only other option is the 'scraping the road' camera, which feels so much better but is fairly useless on a screen this size due to the amount going on (and the speed).

A bonnet cam would have solved all of my issues, a real shame as it's incredible how much they've squeezed in.

Got the digital version of this with a new Vita. Took several hours to download.
Now sorry if noobish questions but why does my car (Porsche) change color? It pisses me off.
Also can't find any menu to change controls, did they really leave this option out? Otherwise, good fun. Graphics a bit too small (coming from iPad games). Some good music too, which I found surprising given it's an EA game.

Your car changes colour when you drive through a garage (which also repairs t and tops up boost). If the colours offend you then you can always loop round a couple of times to go to the one you want :-)

Stick with the controls, you get used to it although clearly you're right - you should be able to pick what you like.

I turn the music off. Much more immersive.
