That’s capitalism for you. Morality has no place in that equation, as it just muddies the water. While I do despise capitalism it isn’t something you can do half way… if a business starts dicking around being a “nice guy” they’ll get eaten up by the sharks. The rules are broken, not the corporation for taking advantage of them.
Fair point. This is also why I hate the push for a market with as little regulation as possible. These corporations can't be trusted to do the right thing and even if one did, there would be someone else who wouldn't so they could get ahead :(

    For the emperor!

At least they cant threaten to take jobs and services away from the country if we make them pay up.

“Oh yeah? We’ll pull out of Britain. See how you like that shit!”

“Oh no! How will we cope with only five major coffee house chains?”

Tea is shit, but that is in part because I hate making it. And I can only have one a day before the taste makes me feel ill. 6coffees a day for me.

Now that's worse. At least Starbuck's employ a lot of people in the UK, even if it doesn't pay its full way. Facebook employ... 90 people.

But... again... can't blame them for gaming the rules. We can blame the Tory and Labour governments though.

Fuck it... let's all vote green party next time. I mean they'll be shit, but it would be worth it to see Natalie Bennett crap herself at the prospect of actually having to work for living.

So....if I set up my registered office in Dublin, and contract myself out from there, can I pay lower tax? Do I need an Irish bank account to?

Big business doesn't pay tax they generate it. Not really news is it?

Capitalism isn't fair. No one has even hinted that it is or should be.

However, if you want I less fair, vote Conservative.

Give Jimmy Carrs accountant a ring because this is, basically, what he did except his company was based in jersey.

Give anyone's accountant a ring. You don't hire an accountant to make you pay more taxes.
