@Venatio - I think we should let them in. Booped needs the challenge!

No complaints from me either. As long as we're talking about our regular Trials lot who were unlucky and missed registration and not just some random Trials God who has seen this and wants in :)

Ok, so unless anybody has any strong objections I'll add Ka-blamo and Gartt.

The rule is really there to stop randoms from showing up, nicking the prizes and then buggering off again.

"sounds like a public school ponce"

I can see the flood gates opening :)

All good with me for those two chaps to jump in.

Makes no odds to me. It might make things more interesting for a few people, but us mere mortals who still have skin on their hands won't really notice.
I'm just happy that I managed to get a gold. :D

@booped well done! You must be quite high on the leaderboards now then, you were before as it was!

No objections here - we don't want to make it too easy for booped ;)

    Whenever I watch my replay....its just, left........left.........right...........right........finish.

Whenever I watch someone else on the same track its leftrightleftleftleftrightrightrightrightrightleftleft.

It's depressing its a game with only 2 buttons there are people insurmountably better than you :)

I've not really had a goat this yet. I remember getting a good time when doing the track originally but imagine that has been smashed now
Indeed...even I overtook you. You're now at the bottom of the list ;)

/will be at the bottom before the week ends...

@Petulant_Radish I'm winning - nobody check the leaderboards, I'll take my prize now and be on my way.

    I'm in the 44 second club :)

I figured out a new way to beat the tree, have a watch of my replay. It's a little messy, I haven't quite perfected it yet but it works.

Edit: Gf just got back, so thats it for me today. Im not done with this mofo yet!

Gf: "Why are your eyes all red?"

I think I over did it today -_-

lol, clotheslining yourself on the tree? Doesnt exactly sound consistent, have you found a way that makes you not crash out?

Method Ive found that works is to come up to the tree in a wheelie and hit the brake, as long as you're in the right angle you quickly drop under the tree

Yeah, that is the technique I ended up with. More tentative approach, haven't really made it fast or smooth yet but it works as you say.

    Clothes-lining worked, don't knock it :)

Yeah I messed around with your technique for a bit, couldn't get it. I had one similar...breaking sharply on the front wheel and the back wheel flicks up and hits the underside of the branch.

I liked this one but It slowed me down too much.

I hate the back wheel one that everyone uses, It works for me 1 in 20 times and when it does I hit the other tree half way down.

I want to share the clothes line one with people if they want to try an alternative, works for me 1 in 3 times. Takes some practice though.

trust me I wouldnt knock it, nothing better in trials than finding a technique that works for you. I was so proud of the wheelie flip, i used at the start of Rollercoaster in the last comp (think I was the first to use it and now a lot of the top replays use it)

I thought you'd sit back and wait for someone to beat your time, didn't think you'd keep going. Bugger :)

@Red_Bool - managed to knock nearly a second off my time now, but still not in the 44 club...

I also just slow down for the trees. Tried bunny hopping over but it ruins the momentum going into the last part of the track.

I improved my time slightly last night, need to get quicker through the blasted tree though to break 44...still a long way to go on that. I kept wanting to play FIFA last night but onemoregoitis wouldn't let me. Had to wait until the Wife broke me free by shouting at me when she got in...

It always hurts crashing after the tree.

Yesterday I was .500 seconds ahead of my best time past the tree, I sneezed. When I opened my eyes my character was lying on his back. -_-
