    Since it's announcement I've been wondering why I couldn't find the Killzone Trilogy on Amazon.

    Now I know why: It's a GAME exclusive.

    God knows why.

    Because they're trying to get people to give a fuck about Game.

    Nobody gives a fuck.

    They closed down the game/gamestation stores in our town centre and now the only store is in the out-of-town shopping centre i never go to.

    *shrugs*

    Their loss.

    Neither do I to be perfectly honest. It's just a shame I have to set up a GAME account to buy it online now. I can't bare going into stores and buying things any more.

    In my local GAME store it's 20% new stock which is mostly the 'big' games like FIFA and the rest is just pre-owned. Gamestation isn't much better to be honest. I remember the day I walked in and bought 1 of the 4 copies of We Love Katamari that they had. Memories...

    That's fairly retarded. We don't even have Game stores here any more.

    @MrTomFTW
    You don't really expect me to buy from Play.com do you? My Arrested Development boxset from there was missing discs.

    Well Amazon then haha. A quick search shows they have the original Killzone for 1p!

    Is Killzone 1 being tarted up then? I don't remember it being much cop, tbh.

    Killzone 2/3 seem to be much better propositions, and surely much cheaper now.

    @RedSparrows

    Killzone 1 wasn't that bad but I don't know how well it will hold up now. I really enjoyed it way back in 2004 as it was an enjoyable shooter with refreshingly brown, gritty graphics and art-style (compared to Halo) and some pretty visceral weapons. It also possibly had the best game intro-cinematic I have ever seen... Brian Cox's speech made me want to sign up for the Helghast :p

    Unfortunately it had some seriously dodgy frame-rate and texture pop-up issues which should be been fixed with this version. It should be pretty decent effort as they've used the original game-data and art assets like the recent God of War and MGS remakes (and not like the silent hill remakes).

    Only played through the sequels and they were spectacular... on the eyes.

    The endless (and frequently awful) cutscenes ruined the campaigns unfortunately, but multiplayer was refreshingly excellent and I still play KZ3's.

    As far as I recall from reviews at the time (I've never played a Killzone game), the original Killzone suffered from a few problems with frame rate, so that should be fixed at least.

    KZ1 was ok but by no means a classic and not really needing a HD update.

    Oh sorry I forgot this was the internet for a second there, let me revise my comment:
    KZ1 is the worst thing evers!!11!
