I loved the paintball bit. Mark and Marks voice overs were class. The music quiz was also excellent...Snow Patrol

Super Hans has had the lines on his face filled in, looks really strange. I was watching an episode of series 4 before the new one last night. The one where Hans gives up drugs (don't mention crack Jez, as it reminds me of crack...and I fuckin' love crack ;) ) and his thin drawn face is just a mess of lines.

Can't we just use a 'paint knife'?

    That's a paintbrush, Mark.

4od is a pile of turds on the PS3 but is just about watchable on PC for me.

Channel 4 are evil. Last week episode 4 aired as expected, but they also put up episode 5 to watch on 4oD. I couldn't resist and watched both. Now they seem to have only put on episode 5, no episode 6 to be seen like episode 5 was last week

    Peep Show:
    1
    2
    3
    5
    4
    6
    8
    7

Awesome series. I never want them to end. I have a strong feeling I will be getting series 8 tomorrow, to go with the other 7 ;)
I want series 9 now, but I also want:

    lots more Johnson
    Big Suze/Elena/Sophie
    Jeff

    less of
    Dobby's mates

Favourite episode of the season, purely down to the scenes which lacked Dobbie/her mates and scenes lacking Mark being duped into a scam! :)

This and the first were definitely the best episodes of the series. I was a bit disappointed with Series 8 on the whole however. I agree with the sentiment that Dobbie and her friends were given too much air time.

More so however, I think the entire storyline of Mark trying to get Dobbie to move into the flat was too thin to be the crux of the series. Her character has always been a bit peripheral to the series and she isn't as funny or dramatic as some of the other supporting characters. Some of Jeremy's flings have been far more interesting and only popped up once or twice.

Not much was made of the ex-boyfriend when there was definitely room to write in more awkward confrontations there. Perhaps it seemed a bit too obvious but it might have given the series some snap which it seemed to lack. This was compounded by a series which revolved around Mark and much less so Jeremy, who usually throws up more chaotic situations which are balanced by the mild pickles Mark usually finds himself in.

I think they'd have been better off skipping most of the middle episodes and bringing the final one forward, then continuing the rest of the series with Mark and Jeremy at loggerheads. That hasn't been done yet and could have made for some funny confrontations.

    Alright, episode 6 win moments:
    - Jeremy failing to get off the train! :D
    - The pork pie demolition
    - Mark's interpretation of 5-a-side rules :D
    - Snakes!

    Anyway, roll on series 9.

Was that the last episode of this series? As it ended pretty limply. This whole series has been about 3 settings below the usual level to be honest.

it's a strange one; although technically everything was good - there were some brilliant moments and stand out jokes - something didn't feel right. I think a lot of the plot in this series was written to fit the jokes rather than the other way around. really grew to dislike dobbie as well which i didn't like.

    still, shits on quincy...
