Made by Suda51 (Killer7, No More Heroes) its a mech shooter that came out last night on the eStore for £7.19.
“It brings AAA production values to the downloadable market in an unprecedented collaboration of all-star creators in music, art, and design, including breathtaking animation by the acclaimed animation studio, bones.”

It controls a bit like Kid Icarus with the stylus to aim and the circle pad to move, seems like the story is a bit nuts.

Yeah I am sure there will be some within a couple of days, redcrayon wrote some first impressions that are worth reading in the 3DS thread.

A good review, but the 1 and 1/2 hour long campaign sounds pretty disappointing. I know these games are meant to have high replay value, but it's whether or not bettering your highscore compares to the multiple routes offered in Star Fox. It's still tempting, but this isn't a genre that appeals to me greatly.

Yes I was disappointed myself and this is probably the biggest flaw for many gamers, especially those who aren't crazy about shoot 'em ups in the first place. If you're not into the score attack thing then maybe it's worth passing for now unless the price goes down.

And thank you for the feedback, much appreciated. :-)

@brigadier Thanks for the review! It sounds like the sort of game i'd like but I don't think i'm going to get it just yet, maybe wait until the new year when there's less new games coming out.
