In an ideal world women would all be shipped off to a space station or another planet so that men would never have to see them again. Regular shuttles filled with semen, or "spunk tankers" as they would be known, would ensure the continuation of the species without any more of this unhygienic sex business.

    BAAANG!!!!! EXPLOTION!!!!!

All men and women should be dressed from head to toe with nothing but their eyes showing, as little make up should be used as possible as that may be too suggestive. Any attempts at flirting will be met with swift and violent justice.

Reading this thread firmly reminds me that I work in an industry that still hangs a 'not for girls sign' on it's doors. Hopefully none of you actually work in industry...

    Yes we're all deeply sexist.

Now get back in the kitchen.

EG's show, they can do what they want. I feel a dressing gown dress code next year should be applied. I might turn up.

@Cosplayer I hate to point it out to you, cosplayer, but dressing a girl up in the bare minimum of orange spandex with a QR code on her bum is not cosplay. I have no issue with companies bringing cosplayers to their events (as Ubisoft did for the MCM that one time) but booth babes are not cosplayers. They're women clad in tiny outfits that have nothing to do with gaming, and are there as eye candy.

You don't sound like you hate pointing it out at all.

Women clad in tiny outfits appear as eye candy in many games as well, of course. The tiny outfits don't have anything to do with the game there either.

I like how they pose for the camera. If you want girls to show off their curves then bring them together in one shot to make them competitive.

So... are there any evidence pictures of those QR code on the arse booth babes? eh, I feel like getting outraged about something...

My main objection to the Orange clad girls was the misappropriation of the word "gaming", at a video games expo, to promote gambling. Advertising of casinos is what @Rauper should be be banning.

@LeoliansBro Yes, but we all agree that the women who appear in games are not real. I have no problem to someone kicking the shit out of Hwaorang, I would object to somebody doing it to a cosplayer of Hwaorang.

@Moot_Point I'm not sure what would never happen... That somebody cosplays Hwaorang or that somebody would kick the shit out of them?

I am sure anyone caught fighting would be ejected from the venue.

I don't agree with booth babes but I think actors walking around with guns is WORSE.

Booth babes don't kill people, guns do.

@Moot_Point Of course. We all agree that violence and fighting is bad. And yet there were a number of fighting games.

A scantily clad female character in a game is okay. Women walking around the Expo with QR codes on their bums is not.

What is okay for a game is not okay for the real world.

I'm not sure if this is a false dichotomy or just a plain strawman.

Violence and Fighting causes harm, thats the key difference. Having someone pretty to promote something doesn't
