Keep up the good work, Techno =)

I really must stop being shit and get back into reading and writing, totally fallen off the wagon this month.

I'm trying to setup a blog tour in March to support the release, if anyone here has a blog or site and you're willing to take part then please give me a shout.

    Thanks!

I've got almost a full chapter sitting around unpublished which just needs a spelllling once-over, so I ought to do that at least.

In my defence I got sick and felt like crap and the missus had some time off so I was spending more time with her and then the fence blew down and the kettle fused the entire house. So it's not like I haven't been busy. :)

I feel like I'm about 3/4 done. It might help to sit down and try to rough-plan my way to the end now. Might try that later.

Wait you are siting on an etire chapter?

    Go and post it man!

Also MD what happened to your stuff?!?!

(I have finished in a rather slowl start and stop fashion a new chapter and will put it online later. Which would turn me into a beacon of hope and motivation. Do you really want it to come to this?)

Good news! I didn't post it yet. :D

What I did do instead was to take a couple of hours out and plan to the end. I've now got a fairly decent route to success(!) which hits all the story beats I still wanted to hit and ties them all together in a six-chapter rollercoaster ride!

Which I now have to write. Ahem.

    Okay, Chapter 12 is here.

That's me up to date now, I'm not sitting on any more unpublished stuff. Need to get writing some more or it'll be November again before I know it. :)

    Yaaay!

    Good long chapter.

    Typos:
They were the same eyes that I had seen in the alleyway back in the , but also the same eyes that had just a few moments before been crouched in the road, snarling and preparing to tear me to pieces. Animal eyes.

Be safe,Ē she said warmly, her tone very different to almost military air she had carried just a few seconds earlier.

The terrain had proved less challenging that I had expected and even without Kurtís eyesight advantage we had little trouble making our way across the fields.
-> i was a bit confused here. They have Kurt's eyesight advantage. Or should it "we would have had" or even "i had little trouble"?

See, that's what I get for giving it a quick once-over before putting it on the blog. All of those are things I changed last night because I wasn't happy with them in their original form. And then somehow managed to cock up anyway. :D

Super thanks for reading as usual, Salaman!

    @Blerk

Good to see the next part up!

"alleyway back in the , but" - missing word after the?

The natives seemed to be very well attuned to other people. Interesting.

How does Kurt know the term "special forces teams"? Mind you, he's speaking English so I guess they have a similar concept.

    Nasty WMD.

I'm wondering now if there's something else at play in the extermination. I can well believe we took advantage of the situation, but genocide seems a bit much for grabbing resources.

All in all another excellent chapter.

    Good boy! :D

I have to admit, I've been slacking this last week due to the missus being off work again and having to spend a couple of nights rewriting my CV. I think I've got one short scene in the bag since last time which isn't very good at all.

I'll attempt to kick myself into gear tonight. :)

The last few weeks were slightly frantic.

I even pulled a Blerk and was sitting on a finished chapter without publishing it. Making matters worse I did not even edit it or anything.

    Well.

    Here is my latest update.
The next chapter is underway too.

I would like to apologise for being crap. I am still slowly writing my novel, and but started a short story in my writing class and it's taken a on a mind of its own. Don't know where I'm going with it though.

I've been slow with updates as trying to sort out a work project and other things. It's still going, but not had the time to pile pages through for a few weeks!

I'm supposed to be editing my own stuff, but got asked to edit a literary magazine instead, sucking up most of my free time outside of uni work. Fun times.

Damn I wanted to answer earlier, but I am in an internship that is eating my life right now.

    TechnoHippy:
Thanks for the kind words. They actually have a positive effect and are much appreciated.

    Blerk:
I would kill you for not updating but I still have to read your last chapter (which I really want to do) so my shame is as great as yours. For now it's a stalemate.

    Metaldog:
    Are you still alive?
    Don't you give up now!

    Meme:
Dude! Editing a literary magazine is like the best excuse for not editing your own stuff. You get to diss other peoples writing (and steal their good stuff)

    RobtheBuilder:
Never give up. When you start a story it stays started it is never to late to continue. Trust me.
I'd am looking forward to reading your story, I just wish I had some kind of Time creating device that I could use to create all the temporal resources to get everything done that I'd like to do!

    CosmicFuzz:
See it from this perspective it means that you are along the ride just like the readers. Go in end enjoy. Worst case scenario send in the guys with the guns and sort the rest out later.

    CarbonAltered:
I have not forgotten you! Will return to your story. Hopefully sooner than later.

    Metalfish:
    Are you still alive?

    Salaman:
    You are still a hero.
