I'm getting a PS3 soon and I was wondering what are the best PSN exclusive games? I know the Pixel Junk series and Journey are really good, but that's it.

EDIT: Just noticed you said exclusives, so I guess you can chalk off about half of the ones I mentioned.

Registered 4 years agoYes to what the previous posters said, plus Pac-Man Championship DX and Galaga Legions DX. Not sure if they're exclusive - probably not, in fact - but if you haven't got them, put them on your list of ones to consider getting. -

Tony the demo of Amy was terrible on the 360, I would assume the psn one would be the same."Duffman is thrusting in the direction of the problem! Oh, yeah!"

Registered 4 years agoyeah, played the demo and vaguely thought it was possibly ok but reading up on it makes me shy away....you know i'm a fan of many games with foibles and issues but amy may be a step too far.... -

Registered 6 years agoGot a bit o' money in my PSN wallet atm.
Wondering whether to get Journey (Played the demo last night and loved its atmosphere but I've heard it's very short and just seems a little light for its 10 notes), Tokyo Jungle (looks batshit crazy in a good way, reminds me of the megadrive classic Primal Rage in a way) or a digital version of Driver: San Fran (11 notes with PS+ atm, still not got round to playing it, but I would normally get any multiplatform game on 360).
Thoughts anyone?

Registered 6 years agoYeh, tbf I had similar reservations about Limbo when that first came out (High price, short length) but that was very much worth the money. Well, I actually got it half price in a XBL sale, but having played it I know it's well worth its full price. -

I have some PSN funds incoming and if I can resist spending them on the Vita then I'm all over Journey and Okami. -

Registered 6 years agoSurprised this thread isn't bigger. I've only had a PS3 a few months, but have gone through a bit of PSN credit. I'm tempted by Magic Orbz, but seems a bit pricey for a ball/block busting game. Anyone played it?
A grumble I have is there's not enough retail games on the store. MS's games on demand is much better stocked. Anyone know the reason?

This will change next time round I'm sure. Vita stuff is already digital day and date with the physical release.

Hopefully. Just as an example, I was interested in getting the Spider-Man games, which still command a fair whack for physical copies, but they're there on GoD for a reasonable price. Would be nice if PSN could match xbox live (they currently have nearly 500 GoD).Short-Round wrote:

Another grumble is the download list not saying which format a game is for (PS3 or Vita). I've got a bunch of cross-releases in my download list, PSN+ games and I recently bought Everybody's Golf 2 and Everybody's Tennis, in preparation for when I pick up a Vita, so would be nice if it mentioned the format in the long dl list. -

This. I don't have a vita, and a couple of times I've wanted to play a game only to figure out it was vita only all along
