I'm trying to identify an old Star Trek 'game' that I had for the PC in the late 90's and am really struggling finding any reference to it online, so I was hoping you might help!

I use the term 'game' as it didn't have a game as such, it was more of a simulator.

It was basically a bridge simulator of all the main ships from the Star Trek universe up 'til that point: Enterprise, Voyager, Defiant etc. It used real photography that you could rotate in 360 degrees (I think) to look all around the ship's spaces. You could move around the spaces in a Myst-style, investigate everything on screen, interact with consoles, go inside turbolifts.

When you 'used' a console, you could press the buttons on the interface. For example, you could go up to the weapons console on a bridge and fire torpedoes / phasers.

It wasn't Bridge Commander or Starship Creator if that's what you're going to suggest. It wasn't really a game at all, more of an interactive digital museum piece. If you know what it is, please tell me!

    Not Judgement Rites then

The strange thing is I hold The Dragon Age series up as example of diversity and choice, the fact that the brothels in DA service everybody, male/female with multiple options, to remove the brothels is a step backwards for diversity IMO

Only Star Trek game I remember playing was a TNG point-n-click adventure, but that was something different.

I remember a Star Trek Voyager FPS where you could visit pretty much the entire ship between missions. Forgot what it's called though.

That was an official mod/expansion for Star Trek: Elite Force, wasn't it? The FPS sirtacos said, not the one in the OP.

    That's almost certainly Captain's Chair.
