    so, i have never tried these... any good?

    the minced beef with onion gravy sounds like it could be good, a nice humble affair... the chicken, bacon & sweetcorn one sounds like a disaster.

    mince rounds are awesome, and this looks to basically replace the pastry with some sort of breadcrumb shell.

    what of the side?

    chips? waffles? beans? spaghetti hoops?

    brown sauce, worcester sauce?

    option to pour out the mince and gravy and mix with mash?

    @anthonypappa Lmfao. I have never been called a 'man of the people' in my life..!

    It wasn't really a snobbish reply, believe me I enjoy many unusual and nostalgia filled treats in my life, but crispy pancakes are really one of those that fail to live up to nostalgia. I think it's more the novelty value you place on them as a kid makes them seem like they tasted better than they actually did.

    They aren't as bad as some people make out, but they really aren't worth anything more than a one off reminder of why you don't buy them every week...

    I had one of these (minced beef) for lunch the other day. It was indeed wretched, with a texture akin to a stuffed sock.
