Yeah Steam sucks, bring back config.sys and autoexec.bat tweaking!

Nobody plays most of their Steam library.
Your all digital hoarders.
Dear PC Format,
I have finally downloaded the shareware version of Radix from my favourite BBS SwordClash (my friend Gary Staines is the sysop there. Hello Gary!) and it is firmly ensconced onto a trusty Verbatim 5.25" floppy. I am getting an IRQ conflict on boot when I have my mouse plugged in, which is a must for this game I am told. Is there a way edit the autoexec.bat on the storage medium?
PC FORMAT: Yes, you can utilise a new mouse driven editor called "edit" which is included in the core installation of Microsoft's new Windows 95 operating system which *image fades away*
Ahh, memories. Could you imagine if we had access to the internet but we still had (for some unfathomable reason) Speccy/C64 loading times? Don't know they're born, etc.
*fuck off, old man! We don't want your kind here!*
Steam pretty much killed PC gaming for me. So much fafing around to get anything working.
The extended deadline expired yesterday, has anyone been able to find any stories regarding any development?
Found an article written the 12th: http://www.cinemablend.com/games/Valve-Responds-VZBV-Regarding-Consumer-Rights-Terms-Service-48080.html
Basically, nothing has happened. Valve are most likely stalling, perhaps hoping vzbz won't sue.
Does this whole ordeal still not warrant a EG journalist's attention? This is as euro-relevant as it gets!

As you say, "nothing has happened." Therefore no news story.

Also it doesn't involved a scam gamer dating site = not news.
Portable view - Never forget.
EG are probably on the payroll, hence their selective reporting. There's usually half dozen worthy stories per week they fail to say anything about, which is why I only come here for the reviews and the banter.
Because let's face it, previews, videos and specials are either crud or nonexistent.
