@stoneskull Hi Stone Skull, I like playing Zen a lot so feel free to add me if you want some more competition. Don't worry, I'm no super wizard either. My PSN id: Roddy100.|
According to reports on Zen's official forums, they are aware of the teething issues and are working on a fix. Personally, I haven't bothered with the Star Wars standalone as Zen Pinball 2 has all my tables under one roof which is far more convenient IMO.

Glad you're having fun! Most of your scores are a bit (or a lot) higher than mine. Looks like I have some work to do. And I was so proud of that Blade score as well
I have the trials of Epic Quest and PvZ and am definitely wanting to pick them up at some point. Epic Quest in particular looks pretty good.
My current fave is Mars. I had the top score among my PSN friends. Well... until I befriended you that is

Add me too please, got a few decent scores: Trowel_10
Add me too please, got a few awesome scores: Trowel_10
roddy, your earth defense score has been a good challenge.. i was able to double my own score and get to know the table better..
i never read guides on these things.. just bash around until i learn stuff.. sometimes it takes a long time..
i still don't know what the missile is for on the boba fett table, ha
Yeah, I'm the same. I just blunder about until I work out what I need to be doing. Which is easier on some tables than others. Earth Defense is a tricky table to learn whereas something like Mars is quite straightforward.
As far as I can tell, the missiles on the Boba Fett table are for clearing bounties when you're doing a bounty mission. If time is running out and you haven't been able to hit all the required lanes, firing a missile (or two) should clear one. Just don't do it when the ball is near the flippers as it shakes the table which can often result in ball loss.
I haven't played the Boba Fett table all that much. I really should spend some more time with it as my score is pitiful.

Well, hello there...
The Sony pinball thing launched in US this week, so hopefully we will get it tomorrow. I wouldn't mind having some new pinball to get in to. If it's not sensibly priced of course I might just go for some more Zen 2 tables instead.
I've not played either of the pinball games for a while now so it seems like a good time to get back into some pinball, despite having reached so high in the leaderboard on the Clone Wars table at one point I feel like I've already had my biggest pinballing achievement!
Hmmmm...not been Arcade for a while.
Went on today and it did an update. They've now started season 2, with two new tables available (pack 13).
There's also an option for buying the whole of season 2, at a discount, with the tables released as and when. But that option doesn't seem to work.
After playing some more pinball heroes, I like it quite a lot. It's obviously not as good as the other two in terms of physics, graphics etc but it's got some good table designs. Everybody's Golf and the Bowling table are excellent. It's definitely worth £4 and I would pay £20 for a boxed release with Zen 2 standard versions of the 8 included tables.
Well worth picking up and it has Friend's leaderboards too! Only one person on my Friends list currently has Pinball Heroes though, so add me please if you have been playing it as I want some other scores on the boards PSN = aros2011
Well, hello there...
I think Pinball Heroes has been treated a little unfairly in reviews. Sure it's out of date but some of the tables would be worth a full £2 each for a Zen 2 standard version of them.

I just got my beta key for the pinball arcade game that was on kickstarter.
Man, it's so good. They've included digitised versions of scores of tables including the Star Trek one I wanted! Totally unexpected, but it might be becasue he project has been delayed so much.
They've got PINBOT man! My favorite table of all time. I say that but I only ever played the NES version, but it was easily my most played NES game. It was the first time I'd ever heard voice in a game too, it blew my mind!
Presently, the game isn't much to look, it's still in beta! But I might post up a video of it later today. The star trek Table is really bloody hard, so please excuse my crapness.

So I fancy getting some Zen 2 tables for vita/ps3 but only the packs are available to buy for me (7.99 each) on the web store and the respective console stores. It says I haven't unlocked the base Zen 2 game but i've bought and downloaded it on ps3 and Vita. Has there been any sale on these in the past?
For some reason, many tables say "unavailable" on the web store unless you're actually logged in.
Failing that, you may not have the full game properly unlocked at this point. One way to know for sure is whether the trophies have appeared in your trophy list or not. If not, it requires a specific table or pack to be purchased in order to properly unlock the full game. The cheapest and easiest way to do this is to buy the Plants vs Zombies table (which is great anyway) and that will open up the full game for you.
I'm looking forward to seeing your scores on my friend leaderboards

Thanks for the help, I bought the PvZ table and it updated to include all the tables I was missing, then bought Epic Quest too. Cant see me getting anywhere near your scores though! Any favourite tables?
No problem, glad I was able to help
I'm glad you bought Epic Quest - definitely one of my faves. It is unique in that it has an RPG-like levelling system and equipment which carries over from one game to the next.
Other fave tables of mine are MARS, Sorcerer's Lair and Earth Defense.
If you don't mind licensed tables the Marvel original pack (Spider-Man, Wolverine, Blade, Iron Man), and the Avengers pack are excellent, as are the more recent Star Wars packs (although you only get three tables in these packs rather than four).
Have fun! I'm sure you'll be overtaking my scores in no time at all
