Twilight Zone will be available for PlayStation3 and Vita on February 5 in both North America and Europe. Table Pack 7 (including Scared Stiff and Big Shot) is scheduled for worldwide release on PlayStation3 and Vita February 12th. Medieval Madness Pro and Tales of the Arabian Nights Pro are scheduled for February 19th. We can now submit Star Trek:TNG as well as the January table pack to Sony. Hopefully this test cycle will be quicker now that the holiday rush is over. -

Registered 9 years agoPro mode explained:
"I bought it. You get full access to the table menu: settings, tests, the whole shebang. Unfortunately the camera is in floating mode while the coin door is open, which makes the light tests less interesting than they might be. Also you can't use the ball-movement feature in conjunction with the operators menu, which would have been nice.
You also get a table inspection menu, but it's very limited. Views in one direction only (straight up the table) and limited panning and zooming. No back glass view (a crying shame, that).
The pro tips are very limited. About 15 pages in the same format as table instructions. You'd get much more from the Strategy and Tactics threads on the forums here.
For what you get, it's way overpriced. It would have been better as a reward for completing the wizard goals."
From here. Sounds like a complete con to me, despite Arabian Nights being by far my favourite table.
Good news about Twilight Zone coming soon though.

Registered 10 years agoYeah, there's been some deserved stick for the Pro mode. The Farsight boys do seem pretty active in responding to comments, so hopefully it'll be beefed up in future.
My big hope is that, with the release of MM Pro, they sort out the framerate issues on the standard MM table at the same time. One of the best tables, yet completely unplayable at the moment

Pinball Arcade tables are all reproductions of proper, physical tables, so whilst you don't get Iron Man zooming all over the place, you do have perfectly designed pinball.
I have Zen on my 3DS, and it's ok but the tables just aren't quite as tactile. -

Registered 8 years agoDownloaded Pinball Arcade last night (free on PS+). Only the initial 4 tables, but as expected I am useless with Pinball.
Still - decent fun and something to chip away at in between Stranger's Wrath sessions.
Anyone know how much the additional tables are? -

Registered 7 years ago@Flying_Pig Each pack is £3.99 and each pack contains 2 tables.
If I'm correct, each pack you buy will be available on both PS3 and Vita versions of the game.On Twitter: @HiddenAway1

Registered 10 years agoHarem multiball is one of the hardest multiballs to start on any table - all I can say is keep an eye on the light on the left lane, and whenever it's available focus solely on hitting it. -

Registered 10 years agoEnjoying Twilight Zone, and though a lack of transparency above the two loop flippers is causing me grief spotting the shots. Couldn't see that it was available to buy in game which was odd - find it in the store. -

Registered 10 years agoPro Menu Add-On Pricing (USD) : This add-on is currently priced at $3.99 and unlocks the Pro Menu which gives you exclusive access to the Operator's Menu, Ball Control Mode, Table Exploration Mode and IFPA Pro Tips.
Not read great feedback, you'd have to be pretty dedicated to get the value I think. I might try pro on one of my favourite tables one day, or Medieval Madness if it sorts the frame rate out.
To be honest I could play nothing but Pinball Arcade and be happy. Actually, it's pretty much all I have played in the last 6 months!

Registered 10 years agoFound more details (for TOTAN, but you get the idea) :
Announcing the Pro Menu!
The first Pro Menu has been released on Tales of the Arabian Nights for iOS and Android. This is an exciting new feature that will give players a wide variety of options and modes to play with, as well as tracking in-game stats. The options and modes in this Pro Menu are:
Operators Menu:
Set how easy it is to earn extra balls and how many can be earned
Set the number of balls per game
Set how long the ball saver lasts
Set how long the Shooting Stars stay lit
Track your in-game stats, i.e. number of times Genie Multiball was started
Explore Table Mode: gives you camera control so you can look around the table and explore each playfield.
Ball Control: control the ball with the touch screen, disabling gravity and giving you complete control over the bal(s) in play.
Finally, in the Pro Menu: access Pro Tips from the IFPA (International Flipper Pinball Association) pros themselves!
All of this is available when you upgrade your table to the Pro Version! -
Just remember a real table requires a fair bit of maintenance.
