    TR on miller atm are hilarious. On the Esamir alert this morning they had 50% population. lol.

    Been zipping round in my reaver with the air hammer, the gun is almost useless without the extra clip size certs, with +3 extra I was doing well, but often I die at the minute by flying backwards into towers though

    Are you playing NC on Miller as well as VS on Woodman? Came across your name on reddit and thought 'shit, I've killed that guy a few times!'

    And if on Miller, why not roll a VS alt as well and join the BADs?

    @orpheus Oh man, there was a moment last night during the last defence before the alert ended. I C4'd a max and 4 infantry on a hill. It was glorious.

    Yeah, those moments are what it's all about. You'll get a ton of memories from this game, of the really tough or really excellent bits. I'll never forget the first Miller Skydock defence, truly a stunning fight.

    Feckin' Elmos alarm clocked our Indar lock last night, the cheeky sods, so time to give them a thorough thrashing.

    I pretty much use the Piston exclusively with slug ammo, 3 hit kills on infantry at any distance and it fires fast enough to usually kill anyone who comes close, if they get close enough to melee one shot to kill the shield and a knife attack to finish them off does the trick in less than a second.

    Titanic battles across Indar tonight, TR losing their lock less than 24 hours after taking it from us. Battle of Connery at the end was massive. Came very close to recapping it as well. \o/

    @orpheus Yeah, that was epic stuff. I took an awful battering at Connery. As the battle moved forward though I started to find a rhythm.

    Are most of the players non EG people? Very few seem to post here!

    Yeah most are from an eve-website, it's a bit odd how it all came about really. I've tried my best to encourage EG folks to join & play, but only a few from here still do.

    Download TS3 in advance, then ask in Outfit channel for TS server details when you get online.

    We've had a few new members over the last week, so we're running a full squad + most nights now.

    Lots of fun last night again. The battles seemed a bit easier, like the enemies were happy to give up.

    In the hour I spent on it, I only saw about 10 enemies within firing range. I love the game but ut can be awfully dull capping places with no resistance

    Finally. From patch notes GU09.

    "Instant Action will first try to find a decent fight on your current continent. If it cannot find one it will look for the best fights on any continent. This should prevent instant action from taking players away from Alerts or off a continent they enjoy."

    That's a shame, though that will become less of an issue with today's new Lattice. Once it gets rolled out to all 3 continents, it'll be much better (it's only Indar for now).

    That's a shame, though that will become less of an issue with today's new Lattice. Once it gets rolled out to all 3 continents, it'll be much better (it's only Indar for now).
    I just seem to be unlucky when I play this, always seem to miss the action. And what's a lattice?

    I've noticed that towers are now near impossible to defend thanks to the mid level shields now not allowing defenders to shoot out.

    Also, Air is now completely irrelevant thanks to ZOE/Lockdown MAXes. Bursters need to be nerfed, skyguards need to be buffed. Maybe have flak do less damage the faster a target is moving or something.

    Also from the patch:

    New VS MAX Ability: Zealot Overdrive
    Increases movement speed while active
    Speed buff does not increase with cert level
    Decreases armor effectiveness while active
    Increases weapon damage while active
    Damage increases with cert level

    New NC MAX Ability: Aegis Shield
    Shield absorbs all incoming frontal damage while active
    MAX is still vulnerable from the side and rear.
    Shield has large health pool and fast regen rate
    Health pool increases with cert level

    New TR MAX Ability: Lockdown
    Increases fire rate, projectile speed, and reload speed when deployed
    All the above stats increase with cert level
    Locks down the MAX into position and limits their turning radius until undeploying.
    Buffed spot bonus xp


    I really want that NC MAX ability
