Registered 5 years agoBig up to Three too, I've been downloading loads of apps now I've got decent internal space and streaming extreme quality through Spotify and there's been no hiccups.
As you've used the phone you know what it's like, but coming from a small Chinese budget Android phone the difference in quality is crazy. Can see it lasting me for a long time as the screen (and battery) are both monsters! -

Registered 7 years agoDon't buy the official flip case for it. Thing is even cheaper made than the phone! Mine has completely fallen apart and did nothing to protect my phone when it had a wee stumble. I've recently taken it off and put the original back on and I love the phone (original Note) all over again.Pissy pants.

Registered 2 years agoI got 50GB dropbox for mine. It even adds it on to your account if you already have one making your total space even higher!
I still really want to get a case for it but can't decide whether to get one that has a stand with it too. I prefer the pouch style ones as it protects it well and you remove it whilst in use. Not too keen on covers/cases that are permanantly on as they ruin the look of the design which is something i like.
I'm so used to it now and it's great. I used my girlfriends iPhone yesterday and hated how small everything felt haha. So frustrating using a small screen after using this beast for a few days. -

The stock experience is decent too (just ignore the Samsung Account stuff, though the remote thing sounds decent), and the update mentioned gives you the multi-tasking stuff - dunno if they'll keep updating it, or yeah you can just root. -

Registered 11 years agosomething else i've noticed, or more appropriately haven't, is touchwiz. so far it hasn't bothered me at all.
i really can't get over how quick this is. tried the nfc -> wifi direct of a 300mb video last night. was transferred in under 15 seconds.

Registered 8 years agoi had a quick play on my friends note 2 and i did notice that the default touchwiz was a lot wizzier than anything i've had on my note 1, even straight ICS.
but then i haven't got jellybean on mine yet.
still, looking at it didn't really make me want to upgrade this time round, there isn't really anything it does that i particularly am missing, apart from apt-x -

This s-pen is great for scumm games and world of goo is so much easier too.
The only real issue ive had so far is finding accessories for it on amazon or ebay as hardly anything has a review. I need a decent in-car mount as the one I have doesnt hold it horizontally.a Nexus a day keeps the apple away

Registered 5 years agoIs this worth getting? I usually get a new phone pretty much every year but I have absolutely no issues with my Galaxy S2 running jelly bean on cyanogenmod.
I always get phones sim free so should I drop the cash on this? Is it really worth the money I'd be putting down? -
