Got it finally this week, it's just like finding your favourite slippers again after 3 years and remembering they are just the best shoes you've ever had

It is very good. Even though it's far from the best in the series, it's still very much worth playing. There's nothing else quite like it on the 3DS.

Can anyone tell me what happens in the cutscene after the first case? I missed it because like an idiot I was playing with the sound off and there weren't any subtitles.

Something to do with Apollo, possibly that he was buggering off somewhere, but that's all I managed to glean...

Can't you just rewatch the cutscene from the options menu?

But yeah, basically, Apollo is buggering off. You won't know why for a while yet.

On to the third case and just wondering if that's the same girl from the first case? Very confusing. Especially with the flower sniffing.

Don't worry I was bit confused too. The first three episodes are chronologically all over the place. It'll make sense at the end.

What would you say is the best Phoenix Wright? I've only played the first one.

It's mostly about which game has your favourite cases. My favourite is the final case in the second game.

The final case in Justice for all is my personal favourite. Personally feel they went over board trying to top it in Trials & Tribulations.

Nah the final case in Trials and Tribulations is immense, I loved it. I can't even remember the final case in Justice For All. Will have to look it up again.

Anyway, finished the first case of Dual Destinies last night. Good stuff as usual, although I felt a few of the "AH-HA!" moments were a little weak. Like having to point out the 'R' letter had been knocked out by the blast which meant the message had been written before the bomb - it was obvious that there was a letter missing, but you just had to wait until the characters reached that point in the narrative to acknowledge it.. Still loads of fun though, much of the writing makes me smile. It looks brilliant too, and the 3D effect is really nice.

Is anyone else getting a bit bored with remastered games? Read my thoughts!

Wait! I always thought the Maya getting kidnapped and held hostage was the final case in Trials and Tribulations, but an internet search has revealed that in fact it was from Justice For All.

So yes, I agree. The final case in Justice For All is the best. Absolutely great stuff. Even after reading about the final case in T&T, I still can't really remember it very well.

I made a video about this. If yous have a few minutes maybe you can give it a watch? If not, no worries!

About the T&T/JFA last trial debate, I have to side with Trials and Tribulations. I just felt that it wrapped everything up so wonderfully, and the bit where Phoenix and Mia both appear together is one of gaming's greatest 'YAAAAAS' moments for me.

This has been an Ace Attorney filled year for me. I had played and completed the first one multiple times over the years since 2010, but this year was my first time playing any of the others, after getting the trilogy on iOS. They're all great, but Justice for All is the weakest for me. I just felt that there were more moments I got stuck, wandering aimlessly and not knowing what to do. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Apollo Justice! I thought I'd never grow to love it because Phoenix takes a back seat, but it was fantastic.

Love this new one though :)

Out of play the second and third games I would say I prefer the cases in the second. The one at the circus genuinely made me sad and yeah, the final one was particularly well done.

Trials & Tribulations for me. Purely because it features Godot, hands down my favourite prosecutor.

I love all the AA games, the first 4 are superb and all have fantastic moments, great cases and fantastic casts.

My favourite prosecutor was probably Von Karma. But i loved the DS 5th case in the first game.

There weren't any really super obvious hints about the real culprit, but at that point there wasn't really anyone else that it could have been. Him giving you that fake evidence sealed it for me.

Anyone else get the dlc? It's okay if not very odd. Not finished it yet as just got to day 2. Seems worth the price just for more Phoenix!

Just finished this, awesome stuff. Might even pick up the DLC, 4 seems about right seeing as it's a fifth of the size of the main game, I wish more DLC was priced like that.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think such deals run up until the moment of the eShop update, so you'll possibly have up until Thursday lunchtime.

    Decisions, decisions...

Never played an Ace Attorney game, before, not quite sure what I thought of the demo (kinda hard to play it twice, as there won't really be anything to drastically differently). Isn't this a download only game? In which case, is it a case of jump in now, whilst it's reduced, and/or regret later?

No seriously it's not for all but if u enjoy adventure games and are not put off by lots of story text (usually amusing ) with puzzles then go for it.
