    And still no update. :D longest i have ever waited for a dash update! i know the update is dog shit but i want it! because im a customer. and, i have been with xbox since the beginning. im fucked off. cunts they are sometimes.

    You're missing fuck all - my experience is less stable since the update (I think, the beta just seemed to turn in to the finished product). I have to just bypass the main menus completely and use the guide, a lot.

    I still haven't got it either. It's a bit odd when 2 different XBoxes in the same room are connected to Live and don't have the same dashboard...

    Finally got it today. I like how the recommendations section suggests I buy games I've already completed....

    must admit I still haven't actually bothered exploring the new dash beyond noticing pins are now available and that it looks more cluttered...

    Got the update just now. I bought a theme but can't find where to change the fucker anywhere sensible on all the tabs, pressing the guide or owt.

    Theme change is on your user page. Can't quite remember the names of everything but go to your 'friends' tab, select yourself and it's the third box down on the left-hand side. Spent ages trying to find it over the weekend so I could turn on the free Wreck-It Ralph theme on my US account. :)

    No, but seriously - they were all the rave. The windows seem so large as to render them pretty insignificant these days, though. I have a Fable II one, but the only thing it seems to change is the background colour.

    Good thing I only bought that one.

    I keep a live wire and a puddle of water near my xbox.

    I quite like the internet on the xbox, seems fairly robust so far. Although I'm going to need to get a chatpad to use it properly.

    Hooray - I finally got it!

    It isn't the worst thing that's ever happened to me!! Just looks like there are more windows than before... more windows I have no interest in.

    The thing that has pissed me off the most about the last two shitty dash updates is that they obscure even more of my lovely Alan Wake theme.

    I'll never get my Orc looking the same again.

    First they had the 2D themes, then a dash update made those useless, so we had to buy "premium" themes in order to stay hip, and now those are also useless.

    I'd like my 120pts back.

    What a fucking surprise. Today is the final day for Update rollout, and I turn on my (4yo, 20Gb model) Xbox only to get a single red-light E73 error message (I/O issue - I am connected to via Ethernet cable).

    I have since "fixed" the Error via Youtube, which involves stopping the fans rotating for a several minutes (scary as fuck), and now downloading the update...


    Anyone who says updates don't potentially somehow fuck with the system will be shunned immediately.

    Had a go with IE - navigating isn't as completely terrible as I had imagined. No Flash, though, so expectations of the 360 becoming my new porn machine have gone up in smoke. Thus, I'll probably never use IE on it again.

    Just updated and I thought it would be hard to make the dash worse than last years but they have done a sterling job in blowing they thoughts out of the window. A home screen should have information on they games you play and your profile stuff like game in the box, account info and achievements. More sub menus of menus.

    Right now I have the large square giving me a halo 4 advert, the 4 smaller squares of adverts including men in black 3, lego lotr, netflix, forza horizon and kinect.

    Why not giver the subscriber control of their home screen, no doubt to much to ask.

    Why do we need to be subjected to advertising when we pay for our gold subs every year.
