The iPhone is a retarded hunk of shit which is near-impossible to write error-free posts from.

Which makes it more essential than ever that users can edit their comments on articles because rhere's always going to be some kind of worry that escapes notice before you post: autocorrect either tips the wrong word in over a right one or it fails to work at all. Just in my previous sentence it changed error to worry and failed to pick up "rhere's."

There's few things as irritating as telling some arsehole who desperatly deserves it how wrong he is in a comment thread to then discover as soon as you've posted that you look like a deranged cunt for writing "vagunas" instead of "verifiable".

    Edit post option pleads.

The weird thing is there's an edit option on the forums. Don't you want people to post in articles? It's how page clicks happen I thought.

Have you considered reading your own post before posting?

Yeah, it's a pain for me because if there's any naughtiness to be deleted/edited I have to load the "Portable" site on my phone which is obviously slower to load.

You don't know just how error-riddled a mobile phone post is. It's also extremely difficult to re-read a longer post because of the way the tiny text window behaves. Depsite the fact I correct-as-I-go, continually going back and rewriting words the iPhone has "corrected" more often than the ones it hasn't, something will clip the net. Slip the fucking net.

@MrTomFTW that's interesting, I changed to the "HD" site and it still didn't have an edit option. I'll take to look at the portable one (though it doesn't display correctly and is a major bother to use from the phone.)

I find it weird the commenting interface looks exactly the same as the forum, just lacking options other than "reply".
