OH BOLX. Ok, I didn't realise that.
Well if its done as half hearted as COD vita, a grown man will cry.

Is it completely shit?
I got it on auction and should have it on Monday. Only paid 20 pounds, but I still feel like I've paid too much according to reviews. -

Registered 2 years agoThe novelty of having an FPS that functionally works counts for quite a bit, so while you probably wouldn't accept it on a main console it can still be quite fun.
The campaign is small sections of gameplay presented like challenges, and tbh I can't get past the second one, because there's a time limit.
I wouldn't say it's worth full price, but it's still Call of Duty at the end of the day. -

Yeah, I enjoyed it all the same. The slowslog through enemy lines built up to the dramatic (and excellent) final push into Visary's Palace. Then there was a shit boss fight.
KZ2 was you playing as a fat man with a gun, slowly stomping your way across the greyest planet in the known universe, shooting the same Space Nazis over and over again.
KZ3 was all awful though. Functionally a better shooter, but a clusterfuck of bad cutscenes and set pieces, with a cover system that didn't give you cover and bullet sponge baddies galore.
If Cambridge Studio are the same ones that worked on LBP PSP I'd expect this to be up to snuff. It's probably the a game I'd buy if I had a Vita though, rather than a game I'd buy a Vita for. -

Registered 4 years agoit would be a nice touch if sony got the remote play to work on the other killzone games in time for release.
but then it would be nice if sony got remote play to work across the board on all gameshttp://www.scottyslittlesoldiers.co.uk/

Registered 3 years agoPlaystation Blog have done a good interview with Guerilla Cambridge and they have a behind-the-scenes video.
It really does look excellent. Was pleasantly surprised with this part of the interview too :
PSB: How easy was it getting the Killzone game engine up and running on the system?
PJ: It’s optimised in a lot of locations but the core AI system is based precisely on Killzone 3. We’ve had to replace a few of the audio and rendering systems but the back-end leading into them is pure Killzone engine architecture. We’ve also got certain things in the renderer that are unique to our system – we’ve added reflection mapping on the floor and particle systems can actually be lit as well.
There may be a few areas we’ve had to tone back a bit, but we’re pretty convinced that we’ve come up with something that touches most of the technical features from the main Killzone engine."Look at banner Michael!"

Registered 5 years agoIs it just me or does the AI look absolutely atrocious? Shooting anywhere but at you while you stand in the open firing back. Really want this to be good but I'm not as convinced by these videos as some of you. -

I agree. Best AI in a shooter that I've played, enemies flank, use grenades (not spamming them like cod) and generally just make themselves tricky to killElNino9 wrote:

Registered 6 years agoI think I'm going to add this to my pre-ordered titles for the rest of the year. So many pre-ordered already though! -
That looks good for a current console game let alone a portable title.
