    Film '94
    Film '95
    Film '97
    Film '98

(As I'm sure we all remember, 1996 was the year that Barry Norman controversially raped a crow live on air, which I personally thought was a step in the wrong direction.)

Never understood the love for Deadwood.

I liked how you saw the town develop, I liked Al Swearengen, and I liked pretending that Timothy Elephant was a distant relative of his character in Justified; I just found it hard to care about pretty much anything else that was going on. And why couldn't they just talk normal?

Only 5 is really hard as I have seen some quality telly in the past couple of years but here goes

    The Sopranos
    Battlestar Galactica
    The Wire
    Game of Thrones
    Breaking Bad

    Special mentions go to

    Southland (recommend)
Justified (Timothy Olyphant can actually act)
    Spartacus
    Flash Forward
    Fringe
Lost (would have been in top 5 but the last series was ridiculous and shite)
