    I saw something like this demoed a couple of years ago, it might have been the same people. It wasn't as fluid as that, but it was pretty cool.

    Is this working in Microsoft Windows also? The article seems to just reference Apple's Macintosh products,

    I'm excited about the implications for graphic design, 3D sculpting... maybe even games, eventually. It marries perfectly with 3D*, and in that sense, it's a step towards the holodeck.

    *Imagine that starmap scene from Prometheus, for instance. Now imagine observatories fitted out with that! Now imagine a big room, with you in the middle, immersed in a 3D holographic map of the universe, one you can manipulate with your hands! Now picture something to do with porn. Imagine reaching into the porn and touching all the cocks. Imagine it.

    A higher resolution kinect that's more versatile, is plug & play for any computer, and is affordable. That's pretty exciting in itself.

    But yeah, I admit I was in unicorn land with the holographic/cock-stroking stuff.

    Honestly, there's not a lot to be excited about, it's still a motion sensing device for a 2D surface. Great for non-touch screens, not earth shattering though. And it's missing a vital function - clicking.
