    Pretty cool.

Any explanation as to why you need 2 guys doing the same thing to drive it? I had to watch w/o sound.

It was too much for the mind of one pilot to handle.

In very simple terms, the robot is controlled through the brain. When they try using only one person to control the robot, it's too much for the brain to handle. Thus, two captains.

    edit: yeah, what IMO said

They're making a film about giant robots that fight monsters that emerge from the bottom of the ocean. You might as well make up the rules :p

    Only 22 days to go!

Even though Harry's writing style gives me an aneurysm his article has got me even more excited about this movie.

I don't like how a lot of it happens at night or in dense fog.

Apparently the film is tracking worse than Grown Ups 2.

    WTF??!!

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

Awful? Really? Looks like fun to me and can only be better than the really awful Man of Steel.

Plus the computer in the film has the voice of GLaDOS. :)

From the trailer it almost has the tone of Starship Troopers. What's going to happen except big CGI fights in the dark and rain in a city. It looks like transformers with TV actors.

I like the director but it doesn't look amazing. But maybe it will surprise me.

If you were standing before me and said that I would beat you around the head and neck with a stick.

What is it with some people.

Giant Robot's, Monsters, Cast of Son's of Anarchy and Always Sunny in Philly, sounds like it could be amazing. Can't be worse then the big budget films so far this year.

Ladies and Gentleman, mowgli. Part of the reason why we cant have original and entertaining cinematic experiences. :(

I would think it's been hurt by following just after Iron Man 3, Star Trek and Superman. People can't afford to keep going to see movies all the time..

I'm just amazed how Grown Ups 2 is tracking so well, the first one can be described at best as mediocre.

Pacific Rim is going to be awesome though, fun for kids of all ages.

As long as they're not grumpy, no fun, kids of course.

    This space left intentionally blank.

Transformers wasn't bad because it was giant robots fighting.

It looks like it could be good fun. I don't tend to find huge, epic, CGI fight scenes exciting anymore.

The first Transformers film is probably the first big blockbuster which gave robots 'weight'. Now it's 12A destruction on an epic scale all the time.

Take a look at some of the best sci-fi/fantasy films and they are great because of the characters that you cared about.

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.
