    No doubt there is already a thread for this somewhere, but due to the borked thread search i couldnt find it!

    Theres a little intro video up on the official site which introduces the game.

    Below is the stage demo from E3 :




    Below is the video of Lewis Hamilton and his brother playing the 2010 version. Its worth noting he doesnt crash into anyone during this video :



    Pre-orders are up and running on Amazon with a release date of 21st of September.

    Didn't bother with 2011, so probably due an upgrade. Still wait and see if they make a total pig's ear of it first though, which is well within the realms of possibility.

    i'm going to have to get this just for COA track. sad but true. I play my fair share online though so probably worth it. Be nice if they released it at a lower price though.

    I'll no doubt be getting this (not half because i still look forward to every tuesdays league race on '11), as ever there's encouraigng noieses about true localised weather, improved heat and wear management, changing the handling os that it feels like how you imagine a wing car shold be - loads of grip at high speed, little at low speed, etc.

    after last year though i'm hesitant to offer any further opinion. i'm hoping tha tit was made loud and clear that it needs to be polished fro mthe start this time.

    the guys making it clearly have the passion for the sport i just hope that they do the right things like returning curbs to be something you attack and take a risk on , rather than the flat things they are in '11

    Slighly disturbing on that first video is that the players gets a warning for leaving the track despite having an accident.

    it's simply warning him that he left the track and his lap won't be counted as it's in time trial mode.

    I nearly bought 2011 the other day. Was it much of an improvement on the one before? I heard the framerate's shit (360) is that true or an over exaggeration?

    The framerate is fine. Been playing it solidly and never had a problem. Don't get me wrong, F1 2011 has some problems, but the framerate isn't one of them.

    If you do pick it up, make sure you join the EG Tuesday Championship. Good clean honest racing with a good bunch of chaps. Join the Codemasters group for more information.

    Think of it as a fun f1 themed racing game, rather than a hardcore f1 simulator and you'll be happy. It's a bit buggy and the handling is a little bonkers in places but the racing can be fantastic

    No, seriously, it is good fun and we normally have a grid of around 12-14. We have some seriously quick racers and some slower ones (such as myself!)

    DDevils youngest is often 'vocal' in their demands for attention "waaaaaa!" :p

    but yeah it's usually only an hour per qual+race.

    It's the singleplayer i hope that has had a lot of attention this time as i hardly ever play that (i'm still only in canada on season 1) due to the various AI foibles.

    Its all about single players for me, better Career mode please! Although I haven't played 2011 so I don't know how much that advanced on 2010.

    Pretty uch the same - choose a team (availability determined by career years), do R&D in practice race and choose a rival, and then choose to jump ship or build up your team.

    it was let down by dodgy AI pace in changing conditions though amongst other perrenial racer problems like AI being too slow in the corners / braking to early even on the 'expert' settings.

    And various silly little bugs like a weird tyre wear one where a set of tyres sat next to another set of tyres would somehow absorb all of their wear.

    Anyone got any predictions for the race this weekend?, really looking forward to it actually, especially after the Valencia race.

    On a separate note, im currently in the process of an application for Williams :eek:

    If all goes well, i could be working for a Formula 1 team soon. Absolutely mental.
