@BinaryBob101 Try changing the channel on your router. There may be a lot of people nearby using the same one. you can download an app called wifi analyser to see which channels your tablet is picking up best and change to that.

@Spectral Can I change channels through the Nexus itself?

You can. If you know your routers ip address, type it in the nexus browser and it bring up the option to change the channel.

If you don't know, usually typing the name of your router plus lan brings up the same options. For example, if your router is a Belkin, then try:

    http//Belkin.lan/

Yeah, changing channels has had no effect either and this is more annoying at work, where I'm often further away from the router. Having had a look about the net it seems this is a reasonably common problem.

    Yeah, it cuts deep.

I use it so much now every day, both at work and home, I feel genuinely bereft without it. :(

I'd be lost without mine. I barely use my laptop anymore. At least you'll have a working one soon.

Gyro space 3D Free is a pretty cool wall paper app that's well worth checking out.

The gyro space one is easily the coolest thanks to the faux 3D effect it gives using the gyro meter. Haven't seen that functionality in any other wallpapers.

Today's Amazon app of the day is a rather nifty Outrun clone called Final Freeway 2R. It's quite good and scratches the itch quite nicely.

You can add/remove extra screens you know ;-)

I keep my games on the screen to the far right, and my productivity stuff to the far left. The theory being that I won't be tempted to sit there and play Forgotten Tales while I'm supposed to be doing something else. I stress the word theory. In practice it doesn't work at all.

Yeah, I have a similar style to rob. Well, I would if I fucking had one! You'll fill up the space very quickly once you install a few pretty widgets. Filpboard is lovely, as are the weather widgets from HD Widgets.

Didn't know you could add more screens though. I won't ask how as it'll be glaringly obvious, I'm sure. :D
