I saw a few but would like a recommendation. Have Google you a first party one?

Cerberus has some great features if you're rooted. Lookout (I think) also has a good "plan b" app

I'm not rooted though. Weird that Google haven't made an official app for it. Lookout looks good though. Will try that. Cheers!

I don't think you need root for Cerberus, just that you get better features if you're rooted although I'm not sure. Where's my droid might also be a good app

Did I imagine someone posting about buying a Nexus 7 with a case and it being cheaper than buying a Nexus 7 on its own?

Can't find it, I swear it was posted on here.

4 a week for the times.. Think I would rather just buy a nexus personally, but I guess if you read it a lot, could be onto a winner.

If you're a fan of The Times, then 300 for the tablet + 18 months of the paper is a good deal.

That's actually a piss-poor 'offer' to be quite honest!

TBH I think the cases were pretty much bobbins anyway. Don't even think they had the magnetic cover turn turn the screen on.

I got a poetic case from amazon for christmas. its the nuts. I'm liking the look of the bluetooth keyboard dock gadget though. It looks useful and also matches the nexus.

It's quite good actually. Times ipad edition was superb, and definitely worth the sub. The only thing stopping me with this is that I don't know how gimped the Android tablet version inevitably is.

I took advantage of the times offer as I've been meaning to get a times sub for years. the android app for nexus us really good. You get a months trial if you want to try it out. It is pricey though. But you get the 32gb version!

    Total cost: 361.94. The 32Gb Nexus 7 is current.y 184.99 delivered.

So... you're paying 176.95 or a tenner a month to read the Times.

Which is standard price for all paper subs, and the times offers the best digital edition. Although of course opinion on content is up to you. Also good for people who may want to defer cost. Know it is an easier sell to my missus at least!

Yeah. Obviously I could have the phone AND the tablet, but the 4 has sated my gadget / latest android desire for now, and anyway I'm not made of money :)

Ahhhh. Yeah, same. I'd be tempted with the 10 as a guy here's got one and it's pretty impressive - but I have several computers and phones and junk about the place so it seems like it'd be overkill.

Google maps won't show my location history. It works on-line from my laptop but not on my Nexus 4. Any ideas what that could be? I'm starting to wonder if it's mixing my accounts up despite pretending not to. (I have a private gmail and a work Google Apps for business account linked to my phone)

I'd love one of those for the Nexus 10. There's a distinct lack of good keyboard cases over here
