Absolutely right, and that's how I would have done it if I had made my own burgers! But with the elsco burgers they were big and chunky and when I started crushing one down it started to break a bit and was still huge. I would have run the risk of destroying the first burger and ended up frying like 1 or something at a time so decided just to go with what I had. I would have been a lot happier with the final result but ah well
Surely the macho Nacho would have been less bulky (and kinder on the jaw) if you'd made 8 slim burgers,as per the recipe, instead of 8 great big fat ones?
