    @quadfather

    Tried it on the weekend mate - very impressed. Looks excellent for a GC game, its held up very nicely. Wasnt really what i was expecting so its surprised me quite a lot - thanks for the recommendation.

    As far as the game collection goes, it has already moved onto the next stage and a new console : The Playstation 2.

    The mrs got a me a new, sealed one for my birthday last week and, as sad as it sounds, im tempted to leave it in the box and maybe try and get some new, factory sealed games to go with it.

    Could be worth a small fortune in a few years....

    Glad you like it mate. It's a top game. I've put about an hour in now, got right back into it straight away!

    I got to a bit in ED where I had to cast some spell to stop some horrible thing happening but could never cast it in time.

    Never did finish that.

    Its pay day so i decided to drop some cash to fund my new sealed PS2 collection ( or if you want another name for it, "my pension" ).

    Picked up the PS2, Resi 4, God of War, MGS2 and MGS3 all new and factory sealed. My thinking is that if i can look after this stuff and keep it sealed until i retire (another 37 years) it could be worth a decent wedge.

    Just added a new copy of Shadow of the Colossus to the collection : £50!!!???

    :eek:

    Think i'll go on a bread and water diet for the rest of the month......

    Yup, new and factory sealed PS2 version.

    Really hoping its going to appreciate in value, along with the console and the other games i've got. I paid £50 for the Metroid Prime Trilogy (also new) only about three months ago and the cheapest you can find it today is about £75!.

    Been looking at other classic PS2 games and, believe it or not, SotC is one of the cheapest you can get : for a new, sealed copy of Ico (for example) you're looking at £80!

    My thinking is that around the time i retire, there wont be many new PS2's hanging around. There's bound to be some mental game collecting billionaire who will offer me decent bucks for it......

    No. No you can't. :eek:

    Find a similar collection, but replace the Neo Geo with a GameCube/Dreamcast/PS2 and i might be interested!
