The problem with the show at the moment is that they have introduced far too many characters who attempt to drive the plot, meaning its never particularly clear whos doing what and why. And they havent even touched on his gimpy step-brother yet.

Oh, and future keiras wig. Honestly....

I'm another bad episode away from being done with it. It was always a bit shit, but now it's trying to be clever instead of just cheesy... and it's failing miserably.

Is there a thread for The Tomorrow People (US)? Now, there's a show I'd like to bitch about. It has every TV trope in the book and another 18 yo main character that looks about 30 :D

At least he doesn't look like Tom Welling in Smallville's later seasons

Didn't realise she was the Orion "slave girl" that Kirk has a romp with/Uhura's room-mate in the Star Trek reboot!

Ahhh! She was the replacement for Jenifer Garner in Alias Season 5 when she got pregnant, that's where I remember her from.

This show is getting so convoluted lol, so now we have a new timeline as evidenced by the new crazy future guy that know the name kellog but not sadder, possibly sent back to kill Keith before she makes a wrong choice that screws up everybody. I dunno... I'm just guessing of course. But it seems kellog is the new face of this future.

Er, Continuum is Canadian, not American, Just saying.

Been pleased with what I've seen of season one and two, as far as time travel sci-fi goes.

It could also be a small stone in someone looking into rebooting Time Cop as a series again. Huge potential if done right.

I was started to head towards dropping this show but the last episode got me interested again.

At this point though the only character I Iike is Carlos (when he's not crying over dead Kiera), and strangely Julian has grown on me since he became a little less whiny.

I absolutely cannot bear Julian, largely due to the fact that he is spectacularly miscast and the actor is just terrible.

But this series has been awful, largely because they wrote alec as an nice, fairly affable nerd and then realised they had to turn him into a ruthless megalomaniac and did it in such an abrupt, jarring way its unbelievable.

Also, the extraneous time travel stuff just suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks.

It kind of feels like they don't have coherent plot they want to follow and are just changing things whenever they think of a "cool" idea.

It's been pretty awful but like I said I liked the last episode.

Well that was strange, like most of this season (but still enjoyable). For me the whole Freelancer thing hasn't quite worked because it wasn't clear what it is they believe or why they believe it, and their weirdness has made it even less clear as to why the past isn't flooded with people from the future.

Yeah agreed. I think I'm done with this series after the season finale. I'm actually looking forward to Under the Dome now, at least that makes more sense.

watched all 3 series over the last few weeks on netflix. i really enjoyed it at first but as there using the time travel element more it's becoming even more convulted and complicated. I dread to think how many timelines they'll be by the end of the 4th series.

Bit slow there, as alluded to above, it's going to be on it's 4th season before long.

@YenRug hah yeah but I'd convinced myself that it was referencing the wrong show as I didn't think enough time had passed to make another season.

Continuum renewed for a fourth and final season

    Posted by Sarah Pugsley

Tonight, in an exclusive sit-down with Continuum star Rachel Nichols, ET Canada confirmed that Showcase’s Canadian original action-drama returns for a fourth and final season of six episodes airing in 2015. Continuum’s time-mending and mind-bending tale continues following a suspenseful third season.

“All great stories deserve an end. I am excited and grateful to finish Continuum with the riveting conclusion it deserves,” said series star, Rachel Nichols. “This series finale is dedicated to the devoted fans who have loyally supported us since day one.”

“Continuum’s award-winning success on Showcase is a testament to the quality of our Canadian original productions,” said Christine Shipton, Senior Vice President, Content, Shaw Media. “With Executive Producer Simon Barry at its helm, the fourth and final season of Continuum is bound to deliver a heroic conclusion to the futuristic series.”

Showcase is available on a National Free Preview from January 1-31, 2015.

We live in a world where Smallville got 10 seasons on tv and then continued its 'story' in a comic. Continuum getting 4 seasons is hardly a travesty.
