Surprised not to see any discussion yet on this. Can't wait until tomorrow. Has to be the most crammed Apple event in a long while. So far it's rumoured that they will discuss:

    - iOS 6
    - Mountain Lion
    - iCloud
    - Updates to nearly the whole range of Macs
    - iPhone 5
    - SDK for the existing Apple TV or the rumoured TV

I'm most interested to see anything about apps on the Apple TV. Although Apple have denied plans to make a games console it doesn't mean we won't see games offered up through the app store on the apple tv. Not sure that the current Apple TV offers much graphics wise.

I'm excited! Can't wait to see the new Macs. Where is the best place to get a live running commentary...perhaps on Twitter?

    Edit: Here's a live feed

Is it really going to start at 6pm UK time?

6pm is usually the norm for apple events. Just in time for when I get home from work :)

    Likewise.

Oh, and there is NO CHANCE of seeing the iPhone 5 at this conference...!

I hope the Mac mini gets Ivy Bridge and a little upgrade in the storage (solid-state drive please) and graphics (preferrably AMD Radeon HD 6750) department.

I get the feeling iOS6 will be slightly underwhelming - widgets (yawn), turn by turn (want) and who knows what else? Still getting the next iPhone, but it'll be a wrench giving up jailbreak for a bit. Fairly new to jailbreaking, I initially only did it for gestures to save me from a horrendous home button, but maaaan there's some awesome little tweaks I wouldn't want to live without - f.lux, Zephyr, SwipeSelection, Switchy, I love thee.

Im in the market for a new lappy so I hope that's covered. A nice retina Macbook would be lubberly...if its Macbook performance in an Air format, even better :)

What's that? The moon on a stick? Yes please :)

There's a few things they're gonna have to do that'll result in major changes. The dropping of Google Maps perhaps the most noticeable.

Also, Turn by Turn was introduced in IOS4/5 for App Store apps. The above change (new mapping engine) will probably free them up for TBT in integrated apps.

Oh yeah that's true, I was thinking turn by turn integrated though really, as you say not via Google.

I just hope they don't spend most of the time talking about the FB integration in iOS6.

Fuck FB up it's arse I couldn't give a hoot.

iOS needs a major rethink tired and old looking now.

I agree, But look how much they talked about Twitter integration for 5, don't think I've ever used it.

Yeah. All ms need to do is make massive markups on their non-existent pc hardware and they can virtually give away their hardware locked OS.

    MS! YOU FOOLS!

Can't see any mention of the 17" macbook pro? is it just the 15" that has the new design? :(

There's no 17" as the cost of the screen would push the price right up.

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

I think (but I could be wrong) that the only 17" is the old MBP. Maybe.

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

iOS 6 will ship this fall, iPhone 3GS and later, 2nd and 3rd generation iPad, and 4th generation iPod touch.

Not for 1st Gen iPad's then lol Apple.
