I have two monitors and have had it set up like this for a couple of months. Recently (I'd say within the past few eeks) an issue has cropped up where the mouse cursor won't stay locke donto a game screen when I'm playing. So far this occurs on Skyrim, Kingdoms of Amalur, Total Wat and Rayman Origins.

Anyone got a suggested fix for this? It's extremely irritating.

Just so I am clear. The game opens on your primary screen but the mouse still operates as if on desktop ie freely moves between both displays. So is not confined to the active application/game on your primary.

If this is the case it sounds like either your not actually full screen but rather windowed full screen. Or some setting to do with how handles active applications maybe like background process. But if this this was the case your performance would be effected.

Known as 'Sharzam' in 98.5% of games

Sort of - sorry I'll try to be clearer. If we take Skyrim as the example:

The mouse will operate on the primary screen (set to be the main display in the options) as it should and this is the screen with the game displayed. So moving the mouse will let me move the camera around, however, if I turn left eventually the cursor (which obviously, is invisible in the game) will move over to the second screen and operate as a desktop cursor, so clicking will shrink the game on the main display.

It is definitley not operating in windowed mode.

Total War has never worked properly with dual monitors.
