Are Ubisoft doing their own show at E3? Or maybe it will be like last year where they show 1 game at 3 shows?

    Not too bad.

Looks awesomely atmospheric. I hope it has a decent soundtrack in the car and a good fog effect... I want to recreate those GTA3 memories of just exploring and enjoying the environment.

Thanks for posting. This has finally captured my interest; had been ignoring it until now.

Again, hope it is open and just a cool place to "spend time" in.

Hard to get too excited with GTA V on the horizon - and those next gen visuals aren't exactly knocking my socks off.

Could end up being good, though... we'll have to wait and see. Ubi being behind it doesn't mean automatic success like it used to, imo.

So hack is basically a super power? It all looks slick but really doing the same kind of stuff as ever.

Yes it does look much less glamorous in that video. Still looks fun though, I just hope there's not too much gunplay. It still looks different despite using familiar mechanics.

I was very disappointed in this last night at the Sony conference. The unveiling looked absolutely incredible, a real system-seller for next-gen. Now it looks bang average and I wasn't totally sure if it was on PS3 or PS4. Dear oh dear.

It seems to me like they didn't want to overshadow The Division, with the hope being The Division would get as much positive coverage as E3s big surprise as Watch Dogs did when it was revealed. I still think Watch Dogs looks excellent, but I have to admit yesterdays showing didn't really enhance my need to buy it any more than I already wanted to.

Just looks like a skinned Assassins Creed with some modern gimmicks. Thought it was very boring. Hopefully more than random mini games to stretch it out.

I really like the look of it actually. Don't really care about the graphic power - looks adequate if not spectacular.

But the mini-games look quite fun, definitely better than find twenty bear asses (AC3!)

Watch_Dogs, The Division, CoD Whatever, Battlefield Whatever - fucking all of them use this tired glitched HUD effect. I mean, FFS, if this stuff was field tested, operational and reliable then the screen can't be fucking up every time you access a map or change a mode or target someone.

ARGH! Now they're doing it on the websites, too!

It's been going on for years - interface designers who work in the games industry really are shit out of ideas when it comes to creating an interface that's alleged to be futuristic.

"I'll throw some random visual glitching in there - that'll fucking convince them that this shit is cutting edge."

Except it doesn't - it convinces me that you're a lazy bastard recycling a derivative cliché that's been doing the rounds for so long it's ridiculous.

It was neat when it was in TimeSplitters 2 in 2002. Now it's just irritating.

    // end rant!

Visual glitch HUDs aside, I really like the look of Watch_Dogs and The Division, too - I have a good mate from my Studio Liverpool days who's a developer on Watch_Dogs, so I'm more than likely going to get it day one. :)

I'm quite the opposite. The FIFTH version of a game we've all seen time and time again now (and it's more like the 8th now anyway), or the first version of an entirely new IP?

I know what I'd rather have.

According to Ubi Watch Dogs started life in 2009, well before Person Of Interest started airing.

I bloody loved AC1. I'd be super happy if I enjoyed Watch Dogs even half as much. Can't really think of a bad new IP I've played recently either, though I'm sure something will pop up that will refresh my memory.

Watch Dogs is just a near-modern day AC anyway, in gameplay terms. Hopefully it plays better than the latest of that series though.

That is the North American Collector's Edition, the UK version has different stuff in it and was unveiled a month or two ago.
