    Does anyone know how I can watch this Major Nelson premier event that was advertised on Sunday night (US)?

    Just had a look on the dashboard... can't find any mention of it!

    Only watched a few parts of it but noticed that weapon pick up was now on X, instead of RB we saw earlier and ammo pick-ups weren't automatic but still required a "Hold X".

    Do we know if this was an old build? Seems odd to have different control schemes for different modes...
    Maybe I'm blind I did not see the persistent crosshair that's been mentioned.

    I doubt controls would change per mode as this is confusing. Looks like changes have been made closer to release

    Persistent crosshair is there tho very faint.

    Ah okay. Blind I appear to be. If its faint can't be too invasive then while playing.

    Interesting. I hadn't noticed that before. It might make me a little less useless at Gnasher battles.

    I doubt Gnashers will be used much in this Gears, it seems the lanceer will become the weapon of choice.

    After watching the domination video it looks like only 1 primary + the snub and the snub was getting used a fair bit.

    Which isn't a good thing.

    I wonder if we'll get any more info today.

    600 mp levels in J.

    I think the Gnasher will be fine. Remember, no stopping power and no active reload damage boost.

    Plus the mp levels they have shown all seem to be full of small rooms and narrow corridors. Perfect for Duff's beloved 'Gnasher dance'.

    Gears 1, Raven Down, Best of 36 rounds - All players charge into middle with gnashers.

    Body parts everywhere. :D

    God I used to wish my gnasher skills were better, but it was great when you were host!

    Haha, those were the days!Sometimes you could shoot the host in the back 5 times and he would still turn around and shoot you.

    In the Domination video with "Pro Gamer" 'Mrs Violence' that BFG posted, she's mainly rocking the Gnasher and often against Lancer users with success.

    Yes, I have a propensity for Mrs Violence. She was great with the Gnasher.

    Got most of my previous Gears time in a Horde mode...should I be worried.

    Survival seems like a dumbed down, even more for the masses horde mode.

    Dilution of iconic games Mass Effect, Dead Space for example, in the search of more money never seems to end well.

    Hoping for a real 50 round mode in DLC or something.

    Yeah I realise that's how they are selling it, but there is a big gap between reality and games PR.

    :( I feel for you Gruff for buying Aliens.

    I'm hoping it's not PR too but I'm locked into getting the game so will be checking out all the modes day one.

    Despite being still on the fence I've pre-ordered the game. Worse case scenario if I don't like it, bioshock will be a lot cheaper :-)

    I've not seen (or even bothered looking) at this yet, but getting it for £2.99

    Does it look decent enough to everyone? i should really start gears 3 though, part of my bookcase backlog haha

    No active reload boast is great. Gnasher with boost is over powered.
    I'm slowly improving on gears 3 mp, had three games straight today with solid ribbon :)

    The video of Survival looked very good. I think it was Joystiq who did a preview and confirmed it was pretty tough. I hope we continue to get as much info/footage as the last week...
