30 I'd be all over it. Not biting at current prices.

Thinking about it, I had handheld systems for years before we got a TV so maybe that's why I have that mentality towards them.

JayG-if you live in Europe, there are plans to release the game here later this year, so I'd suggest holding off so you can get the DLC. If you live in America then ignore me. :p

    Fingers crossed for Aveline today...

It lets me knock 20 off but won't ship anywhere but my billing address, I'm afraid. Damn. There goes my good deed offer of the day. :/

I live in Switzerland, but at the moment really tempted to start an American account. Sony Europe is a total joke, and I have a 2nd mem stick. As it is, as I have a Irish account there's no Playstation mobile, certain games are missing and with the hassle of having to get Irish playstation network cards as it refuses to recognise my credit card, makes sense to have an american account. What's stopping me is that the Vita seems to have a fit when I change sticks.

@DUFFMAN5 179.99, yeah. Not very helpful with their stipulation though, sorry about that.

Just bought this at HMV, looking forward to having a go on my lunch break and tube journey home. Don't mind paying full price at all for full content game.

@JayG That does sound like it may be a better deal for you. It's a shame that they've messed up the Irish PSN. :(

Well I fully intend to fail. Work has been so boring recently, taking this as some sort or reward for actually being here.
No different to being on here all day anyway ;)

A packet just dropped through my letterbox but looked far too bulky for a Vita game...

Turns out Zavvi have not only got the game to me on the release date for a reasonable 30, but they've also included a preorder bonus of an AC bracelet/wrist strap thingy. I had no idea there were any preorder bonuses.

Played on my lunchbreak... seems like.. Assassins Creed on a handheld. No surprises, but didn't really want any.

Arg, I looted a body after some people got into a fight in front of me and now I'm legging it around town as a Lady with a ton of guards in hot pursuit. I was just checking his pulse, honest!

Forgot I already had this on my Lovefilm rental list so I've got a copy waiting for me at home. Bad timing really as I've got more than enough on my both personal and also my gaming plate.

But I won't be able to resist giving this a good go sooner rather than later so to those who've put a significant amount of time into Liberation, I ask - am I safe to play this and AC3 concurrently or will this spoil anything in its big brother?

Also - any ideas about length? I presume this has plenty of side quests/activities and the like to extend it if I feel like it.

    Cheers.

I read that the main quest is a 12-14 hour job. Seem to be a lot of side missions, so 20 hours I guess.

Having played a few hours of ACIII (still Haytham) and around 90 mins of ACIII Liberation, I can say I have enjoyed the vita version more, which is rather pleasing.

I'm sure both games will end up being great anyway (big fan of the series) but have to say AC Liberation has taken me by surprise.

...now if we can just get a full Fallout game on the machine I would be a very happy man indeed.

I've only played 25 minutes, but I'm really enjoying it. I still miss the Crusades backdrop, but I've run around on rooftops, stabbed some guards and tottered around as a lady, and it's good fun. We need more stuff like this on the Vita.

has anybody tried the VITA/PS3 link option it has on the PS3 version?

@Big-Swiss Not tried this as I'll be getting the 360 version but it unlocks an extra mission on Liberation along with a few additional items. No content for PS3 though.

I will probably rent AC3 on PS3 from LoveFilm so I can unlock the content :)

Started sequence 2 last night, a real step up from the first with the change of location and running through the trees.

Amazed how well it fits and how average the reviews have been. Stand by my previous comment about Vita games that reviewers don't like and I love.

    @Big-Swiss

It's really nothing special, flyer in the box says you an exclusive New York mission to play as Connor, a tomahawk, a new MP character and an upgraded ammunition pouch.
