What the hell, did I really just get all those game for 3 something?
  • Deleted user 29 November 2012 22:23:17
Closing in on a million already. I find it faintly ironic that the bundle that looks set to make the most is also the one with DRM and a limited OS.

Below average? Have you played Company of Heroes, Saints Row and Metro 2033?

    CoH is great of course.

I didn't (re)buy SR3 (hence the 1 comment). And yes, Metro 2033, Red Faction and Darksiders are average.

Don't think I've seen saints row for less than I paid for the whole bundle and I've wanted darksiders for a while. Amazing deal.

What's the deal with company of heroes then? Anything to mark it out from the crowd?

RF armageddon is the definition of average. Darksiders is certainly not and worth the money alone.

It is a RTS by definition, what makes it so good is the systems are so refined and solid. Also ww2 is not a often used setting for RTS, as most are sci-fi.

Lastly it is a good example of a squad based system without traditional base building so more focus on map control. Think DOW2 but more technical.

    @Sharzam

Aaah cheers ears, I had it down as some run-of-the-mill FPS or something.

It is a stupidly good deal and as I own none of those games I shall verily be purchasing post-haste on my return from work.

Thanks for the deal THQ, but this is going to be the first time I turn the publisher slider down to zero and give all the money to charity/humble tip.
I think I left THQ with a penny and gave the rest to humble and charity.

The best thing is that there's usually another game or two they add to the bundle after a week or so. What will it be?

    Yet another mediocre bundle: http://www.bundlestars.com/

I swear most of those games have already been in IndieGala bundles before aswell. And they were almost certainly cheaper in those bundles too.

HumbleBundle is so far ahead of the pack, I don't know why the others bother.

Men of War is very good.

@Mr-Brett - if you've already bought it do you get them?

And what's titan quest? Never heard of it...

Yay, Titan Quest! I've been meaning to play that for YEARS. I remember hearing lots of excellent things about it when it first came out.

@andytheadequate If you paid over the average then yeah.
I have no idea about Titan Quest, naturally I redeemed the code and didn't install it.

  • Deleted user 10 December 2012 22:52:36
I was wondering when something Warhammer related would be added :D There must be expansion packs for it as well.
