Hot Kingdom United Deals?
Looks like they are replacing the larger bottles with the smaller at the same price.
Do the decent thing and post it on HKUD.
Sounds awesome. -

Registered 7 years agoJust an update: Visited a different Tesco on the weekend and discovered the same swindle.
Yes, you heard me correctly! - this is not an isolated incident at one store.
I'll try another store next weekend - pray for me. -

Don't be surprised if you see those hot sauce pics appearing on the BBC soon. -

So I suppose it's pure coincidence that this news story breaks right after my pepper sauce pics were put into the public domain?

It goes deeper than that. The Guardian are in on it too. They only released the story to maintain some plausible deniability after you blew the lid off this sordid affair.DDevil wrote:

Registered 7 years agoWell, it's gotten out of hand now. A quick Saturday evening shop at the local Tesco revealed the following:
- The Encona Pepper Sauces (142ml) in the standard sauce aisle are still £1.39
- In the adjacent World Foods aisle, the EXACT same Encona Pepper Sauces (284ml) are on special for £1.
Yes, I'll give you a minute to take that in..................YOU CAN GET DOUBLE THE PEPPER SAUCE VOLUME FOR 39p CHEAPER BY SHOPPING IN WORLD FOODS.
I think someone is following me... -

It's not crap - it's absolutely fine. I've tried loads of hot/pepper sauces and the price per ml per taste is difficult to beat. If it's been a good month I'll spoil myself with the Tabasco Chipotle.
