    Awesome !

So, the most original and ambitous game of the year on Vita ? Ok.

    But still no game :/

Defeat is not getting knocked down, but refusing to get back up.

Seeing a video like that immediately makes me laugh at people that expect all portable games to cost 59p. There's such a huge difference in production cost between a triple A title and most iOS / android games. Hence I have no problem at all paying 30+ quid for Soul Sacrifice or the like. Being on a portable device doesn't define the price, development cost does. There's a hell of a lot of effort and money going into this game!

Indeed, people comparing iOS game to a true triple A production are really ignorant

Has anyone seen any preorder deals for this yet? I haven't even noticed it listed.

Would like to add this to my Sly and Persona pre-orders - tempted to preorder Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus 2 as well.

@aros - no pre-orders on UK sites (AFAIK), but you can import it from VG+ - see my post about 4 above yours.

And you know what? These same people see the technology in phones increasing as time goes along and seemingly just "expect" games to improve because the technology is there.

Exactly, even if phones were twice as powerful as the PS3 noone is going to make home console quality games and sell them for a couple of quid, it just doesn't make any sense

It's not the power that's the problem, it's the interface. The Vita proves that touch screens are useful, but not as the primary control method.

    Get bent.

And the fact it devalues development to a ridiculous level and will be financially devastating to the whole industry in the long run, even if selling a console quality game for 59p will make a bit of money in the short term. That was the point I was trying to make, did it come across that I meant the power wasn't there yet?

Making this song, the compositor said he wanted us to fear about death and impossibility to defeat giant monster !

More and more music, the OST if awesobulous :

Piano is beautiful in this one, very sad, it fit perfectly with the background of the game, people turned into monsters because of overuse of sacrifice, and you discover their past before choose between saving them or sacrificing them.

This one is wonderful, the voice remains me a song from Aladdin, this is my favorite !

Some awesome song from boss battle :

    Harpy :

    Jack o Lantern :

    Cerberus :

Someone still have doubts about this game after that ? ^^

I have a feeling that the thread will still be locked with a link to the original Soul Sacrifice thread though. ;) I think people are still likely to watch it even if you just post it in the old one.

Much visibility with a thread, the last video i posted in the officiel topic had been ignored because people can know there is a new video just looking a the title, they think " oh they re just talking about the game, there is no nnews from what i know, no need to open the thread "

So for this unique video, i choosed to make a little exception :)"

    Great video - granted (Link)

But agree - it didn't need a new thread.

Just to clarify: I didn't actually lock the thread. I was just using my psychic powers to predict the future. :)

It is indeed a very shiny video.

Japan has had one and with the amount Sony have been plugging the game I can't see why we wouldn't get it. :)

I suppose it's not that long to wait either way, but I wouldn't mind a taster :)

-Over 300 types of magic with a deep crafting system.
-About 25 hours to complete story on single player, multiplayer content expands this to several hundred hours.
-Superb storytelling through the grimoire system and its journal entries.
-Story is quite moving and definitely worth the time to experience.
-Huge variation of spells makes for extremely deep tactical multiplayer experience.
-Team work and role assignment in multiplayer has immense potential.
-Dying and being sacrificed is still fun and does not affect rewards.
-Being able to continue fighting even when dead is extremely welcome feature.
-The dark fantasy theme is well portrayed and written, although it may be too dark for some people's taste.
-Difficulty level is very high, but the high speed action is extremely fun and rewarding to learn.
-Salvation and Sacrifice system adds surprisingly profound and meaningful choice to the game.
-It might be "another hunting game" but it is overflowing with originality.
-Single player is fun in its own right, but multiplayer is where the game really shines. The more the merrier!

Pleased that SP is still a decent game. I tend to play on the train, so no internet connection and no ability to play much MP.

Got my pre-order with ShopTo :D

This is out now on Japanese PSN. Had to re-download the demo to grab my save data from online storage, but managed to get a couple of missions in.

There are loads of missions open from the very start - it looks like you can do the whole game out of order. It even lets you take on Merlin immediately!

The stages seem bigger - I don't remember there being multiple arenas in the stages before. You aren't just killing either, I had to do a mission where you are searching for items using your detective vision.

I've been fairly inundated with new spells and seals for my arm so far. It looks like there will be plenty of use for the filters on the load out screen as once you hit 20 or so it starts to get heavy!

It seems to look better than I remember. Maybe they turned on antialiasing or increased the rendering resolution. I think it might load faster too, but it is still far from instant.

I'll give it more of a blast tonight. It is still really fun just to fight basic enemies. Countering with physical attacks is very satisfying and even the heavy charge attacks feel very solid.

Edit: one more thing - it does have an online pass so watch out if you're thinking of getting a cartridge not from your PSN account region.
