Embargo? Can't wait until Friday. Finished a couple of games over the weekend so starting chapter one of the demo now, hoping to make a seamless transition once my copy arrives!! Woop-de-doop!!

Need to get on with Sly tonight. I'm onto the final area but was focussing on bottle collection before starting the mission. There's one really high up I can't seem to reach though! Do I need a costume ability?

Game launches in the US tomorrow so I expect reviews to start dropping then.

I know you mentioned it on the previous page aros, but thought a link worthwhile ;-)

Hugely looking forward to this, hopefully Shopto will ship early like they did with Dark Arisen last week. Trouble is I'm running out of time to play. Lately I've had Defiance, MH3U, Dark Arisen. All huge games, and I still have to finish Ni No Kuni and P4G.

For the first time ever, I'm looking forward to a release drought. =/

    Another 7, but a more positive 7 than EG's.

You have to add the 1 back on the game loses for being on vita so 8s and an 8.7 from ign are brilliant review scores imo

7 seems right from the demo

Not a review, but Siliconera have done one of their playtest writeups for Soul Sacrifice: here.

Exactly what I'm thinking. Guacamelee got 7 and I still haven't stopped playing it for 17 hours. Marching through my hard playthrough and loving every second of it.

Still looking forward to Soul Sacrifice, regardless of that EG review.

8/10 : Deeper than the Grand Canyon and just as expansive, Soul Sacrifice will keep you and a bunch of friends going for some time

Called it. The combat in the demo was way too shallow.

Oh well, another "ok" Vita game.

I probably should have gotten a 3DS, software lineup is amazing this year.

Anything stopping you from having both Prog? I love having both and the home consoles barely get a look in now.

I just got a 3DS and it's decent. I think the Vita beats it in just about every single category, but it's worth having a 3DS for the 5 or 6 really great games it now has.

The fact that the 3DS thread is half the size as the Vita thread yet it's been out twice as long speaks volumes.

    Eh?

Yeah, the 3ds owners are busy playing games.

No matter what way you slice it, the release schedule speaks volumes. Vita is technically superior but it doesn't have the games.

Time really. Just don't have the time I used to for gaming.

I just can't see it. Each to their own but I have 19 games on my vita currently (not counting what I've finished), all of which are great. I searched through all the games on 3DS ever released and I have a total of 5.

I think they're all going to be great and I'm very glad I bought a 3DS for them, but the Vita for me has delivered far more in a shorter space of time.

    19 "great" games? Seriously?

I don't think I've found one yet, bar Persona 4 which I've already played on PS2 anyway.

The Vita has a broader range of "good" games, whereas the 3DS has a few system-selling "great" games. That's how I see it anyway.

The 3DS has a superior release schedule for the rest of this year (most likely beyond too). Boxed Vita games are few and far between. Very few 3rd party releases. It's got some great indie games coming this year for sure but that's about it.
