    Maurice Sendak dies aged 83

    Remember reading a few of his books, including Where the Wild things are, in the first years of primary school. It was released in 1963, but remains a great classic IMO.

    :( RIp Mr Sendak. Your stories were magic, your illustrations wonderful. WTWTA obviously brilliant, but also have a soft spot for the slightly demented In The Night Kitchen.
