Upon receiving a drop ball after Kagawa got injured, one of Sunderland's players decides not to punt it back up to me, instead playing a dazzling cross field ball up to Fletcher, who cooly slid it by De Gea as all of my defenders watched from 30 yards up the pitch. Little bellends! -

Registered 5 years agoI really wish they bothered to record some new commentary in Career Mode, I'm playing as Spurs again (did the same last year) and they're still using the same old descriptions they did last year; mentioning how Redknapp has made the team better, how they're a cup team who haven't won the league for years, amongst other things. It's not a major issue, but is annoying.
Also, when discussing current position in the league, both the commentary and reports are bullshit - how is sixth place a fucking 'mid-table position'?! Also, in what world is it 'surprising' that Spurs beat Fulham...? Really EA?

Got a bit addicted to this last night and played it for about 4 hours straight. UT is great.
I will give it a little rest tonight for other things but it wont be out of the disc tray for long.
Bought Crouch last night just before truning the game off for bed and I'm looking forward to seeing his Giraffe like legs fumble to ball around the pitch. -
Been playing a bit today and have had 3 hard lock ups! Boo

Registered 5 years agoIn other news, I have to change my wireless controller settings every time I boot up the game, I always have to tweak the player switching and shooting assist, but not the sliders and other settings...it's weird. This happens in career mode too.
Was there a point where it hard saved my choices, and is there a way I can get the game to re-remember my preferred settings?
I also have to change the game difficulty (though not in career mode) every time too. -

Registered 2 years agoI like the sandbox nature of the gameplay engine. Due to the physics and the various systems EA have introduced over the years, it feels like I can play the game in my way, and in a myriad of varied styles - through the middle, down the wings with pace, lump it forward. Every game (online) is different.

Got promotion at my second attempt from Div 3 offline FUT seasons to Div 2 and noticed a few games against this skill level
Just wondered just how hard its going to be?
Can't get enough of FUT, so many different ways to play the game.

Registered 2 years agoAnyone else having problems with the menus crashing in Manager Mode? It doesn't seem to auto-save either (unlike FIFA 11, which is weird), so for the third time in a row I've lost a bit of playing time. The only option seems to be manually saving after every game, which is a bit of a pain.
The menus on the whole seem quite slow and unresponsive, actually. I'm beginning to think there's simply too much going on for the 360 to deal with. -

Registered 7 years agoany good forums for FUT chaps ? i just started it for the first time and a bit bewildered by the whole thing, is there a way to get some good players in quickly or have u got to play with the default team for awhile ? -
You can make a pretty decent bronze team out of about 4 booster packs and then picking up random players for specific formations for about 200 each on the auction house. I haven't spent any more than that, and my chemistry is up to 81! Also got this dude in a booster pack with pace over 80, he is unstoppable. Having to play 3 4 3 unfortunately tho.
Oh and I cannot start a match in UT seasons anymo online. It just hangs. Managed to play a normal seasons game fine. Wierd, -
