Registered 4 years agoThe game isn't broken. It is just flawed in a way that makes games against the AI intolerable. Multiplayer is great fun, but a big part of a decent football game for me is in taking a club and building it up in career mode. Unfortunately, the AI only knows how to play one way and it makes matches really miserable and frustrating. -

Registered 4 years agoI'm on World Class at the moment. The AI are rarely a threat but are just plain ridiculous in the final third. I don't mind being frustrated by a team, but this is the wrong kind of frustrating. It just feels cheap. It's about 85 minutes of me trying to thread it through 10 men parked in their own area every single game. -

Registered 8 years agoI think he means when the players take time to control the ball before passing or shooting as opposed to actual input lag.
Now that I've fixed my speed and started mucking around in UT, I am totally in love with this game again. -

Registered 4 years agoThose sliders are an absolute godsend. This has gone from a game that makes me want to take up smoking, to a proper fluid game of football in an instant. Thank fuck you are able to change the power bar charge speed. That's my biggest gripe with the game completely solved. -

Registered 4 years agoI googled and got some settings that work really well. The quicker power bar has made this game infinitely better though. Love being able to get it out of your feet quickly without having to wait an age for it to charge. -

Unfortunately though, new FIFA, pre first post release patch, is as broken online as ever. Actually connecting through to, and getting a game going in Seasons is a lottery at times.. -

wierd because the iphone app worked fine on my ipad, albeit a bit shittily. -
@bbvDJC Ignore the A button, by doing this I've suddenly got to grips with defending. Don't go hunting the ball when they're on the attack. Stand your ground and hold LT, then when you're ready to make a move hit B. -
@Ilovechips Will that only work for offline games?

I tried the website on my Galaxy S2 with no joy.
I am interested by these slider options that some people are using. Would it be possible for someone to post up the settings they are using?
I ask because I was wondering if it will change the Pro difficulty games slightly as I feel a little hard done by sometimes because it seems the AI know what I'm going to do before I do.
Semi-Pro is a bit easy so I'm trying to see if I can fine tune a middle ground.

Goalkeeper Ability - 50
Positioning: Marking - 50
Positioning: Run Frequency - 70
Positioning: Line Height - 48
Positioning: Line Length - 40

Positioning: Fullback Positioning - 53
Power Bar - I use 70 but this one is up to you
First Touch Control Error - 52
Apply these to both yours and the AI sliders. Many of the changes look small if you look at the numbers, but the change on the pitch has been massive for me. -
