    Yeah agree. Kitana's not bad either - and by that I mean she has some good moves. Oh dear it's just getting worse!

    Skarlet's fatality may just be one of the most disturbing things I've ever seen in a game. I'm not sure why, as there are gorier ones.

    I just wish the girls had a little more meat on their bones. They all look very generic compared to the much more detailed male fighters. It reminds of Virtua Tennis the way they have been lazy with the female character models.

    Does that change your opinion of the girls?

    Nah, not really. They still all look a bit poo. Good in the cut scenes though! Story mode is ace. It keeps giving!

    I think I'm going to get this tonight, after I get my hands on some Wifi. The stupid 20MB download limit on 3G has been doing my head in these past few days! :-(

    @dominalien It's not cheap on PSN. Amazon have it a fiver cheaper.

    I know it's not. I just can't resist a digital download that I'll be playing 5 minutes later.

    @dominalien Yeah must say after having the PSP Go and having all my content in one place it is rather good. I had Amazon vouchers so the deal was good. Suppose in hindsight I should have bought a PSN card!

    @Help_me

    Actually, PSN is cheaper for me than Amazon, since they don't ship to where I live for free. A few pennies cheaper, admittedly, but still. In fact, everything on the Polish PSN is cheaper than the prices you guys keep quoting at me. E.g. MK works out at 31.48 pounds at today's exchange rate.

    @dominalien Ah nice. Shame we can't buy cards in Euros - or can we?

    @Help_me

    I have no idea, I don't have Euros here either.

    Random bit of trivia: Poland's official currency can be best translated into English as "gold pieces". Like in the fucking middle ages and Eye of the Beholder.

    Would you guys recommend this game to someone who is not generally into fighters? The last fighter I played was probably Tekken on the psone, although I enjoyed that quite a bit. I am a bit apprehensive as I can only get one game at this time, and Rayman is cheaper. Wish there was a demo... Any thoughts?

    @tmespe These are two quite different games!

    I personally think Mortal Kombat is brilliant and even though the production quality of Rayman is astonishing it just wasn't to my tastes.

    That's it, it's really creepy and horrible.

    I don't think it's as deep as a lot of fighters so yeah it's probably ideal for people who aren't massively into fighters.

    It has a story mode that gives the game real purpose. Until I got my teeth into that I was considering trading it. Now there is no way I'm getting rid.

    Rayman is wonderful though.

    @tmespe Can recommend MK. As your only game this might be better as it is endless. I've not played Rayman and have heard very good things about it but once it is done, that's it - as far as I am aware.
    Suppose it depends how often you can buy games?

    I didn't get to buy it :-( I'm getting wifi from my laptop, which creates an ad-hoc connection. And the Vita can't connect to it. So I can't download it.

    @dominalien Man that sucks. Head off to a Starbucks and connect to their free wifi (assuming that occurs in Poland?).

    There's free wifi practically everywhere here :-)

    I can't though. Bedridden for the next 2 weeks.

    Thanks everyone! I've decided to pick up Mortal Kombat at his time. Hopefully that will last me until I can get my hands on Gravity Rush. Will probably get Rayman later. Hopefully it will have gotten a price drop by then.

    @dominalien Just had a thought (pub lunch you see - all the best ideas originate from booze). Download the vita application for pc and do it that way. Or do you not have access to your cable?

    Bought! Downloading now.

    You mean the content manager assistant? I didn't know I could get stuff onto the Vita via computer.
