Looks like there will be two presentations tomorrow.
Japanese one with Iwata at 4am GMT
    http://www.nintendo.co.jp/n10/nintendo_direct/index.html
and a European one with Satoru Shibata at 12pm GMT
    http://www.nintendo.nl/NOE/nl_NL/news/nintendo_direct_47764.html

This is the first time the European one is more then just a translation of Iwatas talk with a bit of release date info.
Hopefully we will see some new games although I expect big announcements will be saved for E3.

Last time we got a Mario Tennis release date, Fire Emblem confirmed for Europe, a new Brain Training game was announced, Dillons Rolling Western was released and we got info on Kid Icarus, Etrian Odyssey 4, Ruin Factory 4, Fatal Frame Wii and some eShop games.

If you are up at 4am then check out andriasang.com because they are good at translating these things quickly.

You'd seriously get out of bed at 4am for this if it's anything like the last one?! I wouldn't get up at 4am for the new console full launch!

Nope but thought now Ecosse has gone it's better having a thread for it then in "the bomb" thread because these are never that huge

Sounds like a helpline for people who have been touched inappropriately by Nintendo.

They're better off sponsoring the stadium of a different north-eastern football team- The Stadium Of Light sounds like something from Zelda anyway...

Another Nintendo Direct at these times:

Mostly focussed on Wii and 3DS, Wii U stuff is unlikely

For a company that likes to make constant news announcements and conferences, they've got bugger all to say.

We're back! Our gaming podcast Open Source returns after a break with a look at Destiny, Minecraft and more. Check us out! (And give us a rating on iTunes please!) :)

They usually save a couple of decent announcements for these events but they are more focused on niche Japanese games.

Another one of these starts in just over an hour
    http://www.ustream.tv/channel/nintendo-direct-2012-8-29-sub
There doesn't seem to be an individual video for Europe this time though.

I didn't get to watch this because I was on my lunch break. Seemed to show lots of Japanese 3DS games a lot of which won't come out here.
There is a live blog here which says everything that happened
    http://andriasang.com/con2fo/ndirect_live_blog/
The main highlights were the announcement of a new Layton game and this rhythm game made by Gamefreak (the Pokemon people)

    New video for Paper Mario

    and Animal crossing

The people who ripped these videos were very quick so better quality ones may come available

I'm a 25 year old man, but i'm actually quite excited by the new Animal Crossing. I skipped over the Wii version, but was completely addicted to Wild World. Can't wait to waste hours in a peaceful and virtual world. Especially if you can edit the terrain as much as it seems.

Me too :) It certainly looks like a bigger change than there was between the DS and Wii versions, which generally speaking were too similar. The only real difference was all the event people that appeared at certain times were given a city. I prefer the DS system if I'm honest.

Having more control over the town seems to be the main draw, plus that QR Code system for sharing clothing should lead to a great selection of outfits online. Then there's swimming, wall furniture, variable character heights and lots of other tweaks that should make it feel a lot more fresh.
