Goddamit, it's not working for me, error parsing cannot read file.

I've tried running it using different compatibility modes but no luck. Oh well.
    Same here.

    Me too, unfortunately.

    Got it like this:

    1. Download the installer, but don't install it. Instead, open the .exe file with your favourite archive manager (I used 7-Zip) and extract it manually into a folder.

    2. Download the alpha 39 executable from their SourceForge page. Extract that archive into the same folder you just extracted the installer into, overwriting the .exe.

    3. Run the .exe and let it update.

    4. Voila.

Or.... just wait for them to fix it.

It is indeed! And the enhanced version on Steam is even better, should you feel the inclination to throw a little money at it.

Cheers for this Dirt, I was subliminally reminded about it yesterday. Got it working no problems and running straight from the NAS as well.

    Thumbs up.

Give yourself ½ gig or a £, you're worth it.

Yeah. It's still a bit spotty in other areas (it sometimes forgets where it installs to on mine) but it works for the most part.

I can't seem to install any games inside of the program, they'll download fine, then at the unpacking phrase the program throws up an error message and gives up.

Here's an example of the error message:
Unpacking failed for Noitu Love & The Army of Grinning Darkness:
    Error unpacking C:\Program Files\Tiggit\data\incoming\noitu-love.zip: Coudn't write C:\Program Files\Tiggit\data\games\tiggit.net\noitu-love\cncs232.dll
Does anyone know what could be causing this problem, and how I can fix it?

    I'm running Vista 32-bit.

Try running it as an admin, otherwise I have no idea. The program is incredibly spotty.

    That did the trick.

I ran it as an admin, which forced the program to update itself and that update seems to have fixed the problem. Bit strange that the program would only update its self if I was running it as admim. But, whatever, the program is most definitely a work in progress and the bugs will get ironed out eventually.

I've always wanted a way to easily manage the freeware games on my computer, so this program is a godsend to me. And even better, it's introduced me to loads of games I'd never heard of before. Thank you for bringing it to my attention DB!

No worries. Set it to always run as admin by setting it in the shortcut's properties under the compatibility tab.
