Cold pizza is pretty grim, not as bad as cold curry though, that's the stuff of nightmares.

    Get bent.

Oddly, both cold pizza and cold curry have saved my life in the past, for hangover recovery purposes. Mmmm, curry sandwich.

Cold pizza in the evening is just depressing.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

What is it with these supposed ready made naan breads? On what planet do they taste anything like authentic naan?
Absolutely rubbish aren't they!? Nothing like the restaurant.

slow cookers don't get hot enough to kill bacteria, so you need to seal the meat in a hot pan first.
I realise I'm half a year late in replying to this, but I don't think it's true. This is from US food safety people:

"The direct heat from the pot, lengthy cooking and steam created within the tightly-covered container combine to destroy bacteria and make the slow cooker a safe process for cooking foods."

Sealing the meat would be pointless too, surface bacteria would be killed but the centre of the meat would be raw. You only need to heat the meat through to 60 degrees C to kill bacteria anyway.

I made a pretty awful chicken stir fry the other night. Too much soy sauce. Ate the whole thing anyway but was not happy about it. Coincidentally I'm playing Walking Dead, Ep 2, and just got to the Don't Eat Dinner bit last night. Holy shit indeed.

In Wales a few weeks ago I ordered a veggie curry in a pub. What I got was a potato curry, served with rice, naan bread and chips.

It's a good job I'm the Carb King and put the lot away, along with 4 pints of Brains SA. It was alright.

I made fajitas not long ago, threw in the spice mix but instead of the normal spice mix I'd accidentally bought the stuff you coat chicken with and bake to breadcrumb it for crispy chicken fajitas. Just turned into a squishy goo in the wok. Tried eating it, was wholly unpleasant.

Speaking of dodgy indian ready meals, Waitrose Lamb Rogan. Only 450 calories per packet, and surprisingly tasty!

Eating a roast dinner the next day is pretty grim.
