In fairness, his Stewie voice is entirely different. The issue for me is that the bear sounded like a mix of those two characters. I don't have high hopes for this, anyway.

Registered 9 years agoTed doesn't sound like Peter Griffin.
Saw the trailer earlier today, thought it looked good.

Registered 6 years agoI have two main problems with this trailer.
1. Sweet Disposition can fuck off.
2. It completely, and probably intentionally, rips off the first Muppets trailer.Every girl I ever kissed I was thinking of a pro footballer.

The second song is even worse for films/trailers. I swear it's been used in so many that it's gone back through time and been in film trailers made before it came out.

Registered 7 years agoThis looks absolute gash. Ugh. I used to like Family Guy until about 4 years ago when I realised it just isn't funny. Same jokes ad infinitum spliced with unfunny internet meme references. It's just abysmal. If you can read this, you don't need glasses.

Registered 6 years agoIs that real? It looks more like something off Funny or Die rather than a full length film... god-forbid having to sit through an hour and a half of that. -

Registered 2 years agoI don't think they make you sit there and watch it. If they do then 1. you go to the wrong cinemas and 2. Don't go to the cinema to see it.After chasing sunsets one of life's simple joy is playing with the boys

Registered 4 years agoI'm amused that people are irritated by this trailer featuring a song that's been overused, which is presumably used in this trailer because it's been overused in film trailers.
That, and the thunder buddy song. -

Registered 7 years agoI very much enjoyed the trailer and look forward to the film. I might even go to the cinema to watch it instead of waiting for the DVD.
Not to everyones tastes clearly, but certainly to mine
Kirby is the man! Even if he wasn't, he'd just ingest and become one.

Registered 11 years agoWilfred the tv show has already delivered on this premise. I guess this could be good novelty value for anyone not familiar with Wilfred, but looks pretty lame. -
Did anyone else totally buy Wahlberg as a snack guzzling couch layabout? Especially with those biceps.

Registered 4 years agoYeah, he should really have done a Raging Bull for this talking Teddy film.
Im just surprised an American comedy features folk smoking weed. That NEVER happens. -

Registered 5 years agoI don't actually hate this trailer or concept as much as it may seem from my posts. I'm just totally apathetic. Seth MacFarlane's not totally crap in my eyes, I do like American Dad and used to enjoy Family Guy, but this just seems like him at his laziest. A resounding 'ehhhh.' more than anything.
If it turns out to be good, though, then great. I just don't see it being anything I'd enjoy. Probably doesn't help that I think Marky Mark is a total waste of space either.

Registered 4 years agoMy view of Marky Mark improved considerably after his turn in The Departed.
I think the best that can be hoped for from Ted is maybe 3 or 4 decent belly laughs. -
Ted = Peter Griffin.
I like Marky Mark though. -
